Stopped in for lunch with a tour group. The setting is very beautiful the menu varied with a good selection. I ordered the pumpkin coconut soup and bruschetta . The bruschetta was tasty, the soup not as heated as it should be and not as flavourful as I had hoped but still good.the bread was fresh and delicious. Lunch was... More

We had lunch here on a lovely August day. Outdoor tables allow one to appreciate the foliage while having a nice meal.

The place is located in high class neighbor hood, the gardens are amazing if you like plants and the history of this women it's quite interesting, the house in my opinion has nothing special, and I really got annoy that they put so much interest in the movie "out of Africa" when this women has so much philanthropic history and... Beautiful area, lots of flowers and birds, perfect for dining al fresco. Lunch here was very tasty and service great. A bar with good beer was a plus.

if you've read the book and seen the film you'll like the nostalgic feel to this place - but honestly there isn't a huge amount of time to be spent here

Loved our visit to Karen Blixen House, it is really a visit into the past, if you have seen the film visiting the House was really interesting and magical.

After a morning of going through the National Park, or the Elephant Orphanage, this is a perfect place to unwind and check out your photos. At least that's what we did. This is a beautiful, quiet oasis with a nice menu and fantastic service. It's not the cheapest option, obviously, but it is well worth it.

A dream of mine, to go here, but was disappointed to see only the homestead and surrounding garden from the film. Only the external shots were done here, as the rooms were too small. The film makers and family have donated many pieces on loan to the trust.Of course the 6,000 acre farm has been broken up over the years,... More

If you know the movie it is pretty interesting. The history of this place is just stunning. We had a great guide and a good time. Try the little hiking trail, definitely worth it. We had fun and will come back to show family and friends around.
