We came here because there are many different shops for alternative souvenirs (not only the typical Kenyan braceletts and wooden animals). The place is nice but a bit expensive (especially the restaurants there).

A cool design. A wide selection of stores. Big food court. I especially recommend going to meat store, a great selection and they can provide any cut, size etc. that you need, the vegetable store and the frozen yogurt. The only negative is that the parking is a pain.

Village market is a must visit place in Nairobi for food and shopping. Its different from regular shopping mall. It has african charm yet it is very modern. Difficult to get parking in weekends. Some lovely food joints are there.

This place has been a favorite for a few years, but has dropped recently. Less and less chicken in their butter chicken. Recent order of malai kofta had one potatoe - for 850/-. And our chicken korma was made with vanilla yoghurt. You've lost us

The vendors at this market are ready to sell!! Be prepared to bargain and have lots of patience when doing so! The prices may start off high but if you have patience they will come down on the prices. If paying the initial price is more valuable than the time you have, go for it! Otherwise, patiently try to get... More
