Attached to a shopping mall for the more conservative shopper you will find the Village Market. It brings together a variety of traditionally made gifts and souvenirs that are really affordable. The Market happens on a Friday (I think this was the only day that it was open from the information we were given) selling artwork, beading, jewellery, homewares, wooden... More

I take my family about twice a month shopping and dining out but on on all three latest occassion have had to call for security to enforce the non-smoking laws within the enclosed dining area of the food court. It seems that they are powerless to enforce this rules and I will reconsider my custom due to health concerns especially for... I visited village market with my family in December for an excursion. It is indeed a good place when you want to spent a day out with your family. My little boys enjoyed very much being in the waters at the swimming pool. The African dishes were mouth watering made to your taste. Lastly we ended our excursion by doing... More

Village Market is a good place to do your shopping when in Nairobi. The nice thing about the place is that shops (even banks) close late. And even if you travelling on business, you still get time to do your shopping after hours. There is also wide choice of restaurants to choose from in case you want to eat. In... More

Did a daytrip to see what the Village Market is all about and we were positively surprised. A very nice area with all sort of services, a nice food court with some very interesting restaurants and of course shopping in world class shops. The 'terrain' inside looked very interesting, but the accessibility with a stroller and small children was a... More

Huge (as per Kenyan standard) shopping mall with everything you could be looking for (Nakumat, Banks, clothes shop, food court…). I don’t know if it is one of the best in Nairobi as I only visited that one but it did serve it purpose well. I am not a big fan of shopping (as you probably have noticed by now)... More

It has open areas with restaurants, so you don't feel that you are in a shopping mall. Nairobi is not the best place for shopping but there are a couple of OK stores here if you need anything in a rush or you left something at home. Nice for walking around and have some lunch in the terraces. More

I was not expecting something like this in Nairobi. I couldn't resist to spend more time in the market than I originally allocated. It has some quality souvenirs, apparel and antiques. Make sure you visit the market before 6 in the evening as most of the markets including the Village Market close down around sunset. Roam around with some time... More

The Village Market has it all....an open-air amazing food court, shops, cinema, bowling alley, mini golf-course and water slides! Every Friday there is a handicrafts market where you'll find lots of Kenyan curios on sale - be ready to bargain though and don't flash your money. On the weekends they sometimes have a local band playing in the food-court while... More
