Liked the fact that this "mall" is quite unlike any I have encountered in North America. Nice mix of indoor and outdoor areas. Many options for eating and a remarkably good variety of shops, many of which specialize in genuine Kenyan arts and crafts. And it has a Nakomat - excellent for staples and sundries. Needed bubble wrap and packing... More

First up, if you have problems with mobility, or are with children in prams, forget Village Market. The spaces to walk are narrow, and the place is FULL of stairs - no lift, stairs everywhere. Disney, Ikea et al have spent time and money working on flow - to ensure that customers travel in a logical way through their attractions.... More

A range of speciality shops, cafes, restaurants, bowling ally, waterpark and other entertainment. One of the best things about this place is the open air rambling village feel. One point to note it has a very good sports shop, probably the best of the shopping malls in Nairobi plus a very good electrical/electronics accessories shop where you can haggle the... More

Shop local masai crafts here at the roof top. Its safer though alittle bit expensive than in the streets of Nairobi. Alot of eating places as well as other shops that you can get quality authentic goods.

Everything you need is available under one roof, in terms of gifts, souvenirs, genuine handicrafts, Friday Masai Market is the place to go to. As a tourist one has to bargain, but in the end one has to spend time to get the right gift for people back home.

I bought most of my souvenirs for friends and family from here. When I was walking in I was chuckling to myself because I could hear the foreigners say to the sellers 'I have no money left'. Turns out an hour later, I found myself saying the very same thing as I left. Lol A must visit

I found it a great place to shop in Nairobi. I could buy locally grown and raised grocery items as well as imported necessities. The shops had very good prices as a norm and the Friday Massai Market was as great as you were willing to spend time and haggle! A wonderful experience.

This is a great shopping center in Nairobi. They have a wide variety of stores that you can purchase things from, and the prices are quite reasonable. They have a pretty good food court, which has excellent theming and decorations. The prices in the food court are, however on the upper side, and in my opinion most of it isn't... More
