this is a little oasis in the center of the nile. the shade is amazing. the park is explored by many locals. some people even offered to the share their picnic with us. i was touched by their generosity. there is a nice view of the desert from the benches that line the place.

This garden was great. It has many plants from all over the world! Overlooking the other side of the Nile river was a sand dune. Many private areas to chill out and relax in this calm, serene garden. When we were there some vendors had souvenirs for sale as well as drinks. It was a bit difficult getting to the... More

Nice break from all the temples and the heat. The grounds are very nice and the stroll is an easy one. A couple or nice river views as well as great collection of trees. A little small but very nice.

This visit to the botanical gardens was included on our cruise itinerary. We enjoyed to huge colorful flowering shrubs and pleasant shade of the huge trees from all over the world, we were reading their names on tags. I felt they were fairly well taken care of (with visitor numbers so low), given the fact there is no rain and... More

This island is worth going to. Although they are just a bunch of trees, flowers, etc. from around the world, they do have the English names for them. Overall it's a nice relaxing island to walk, sit in the shade, have a picnic, or sit at the cafe and drink or eat or buy souvenirs.

Like alot of the attraction is Egypt this one needs some up keep. The "feed the cats" at the entrance would be great if they sold some small bags of cat food. The cats are in terrible condition. The garden is in need of weeding, pruning and general up keep. Nice boat ride to get there and interesting view of... More
