Trips in feluccas - the traditional Nile sailing boats - are easy to arrange, with any number of touts waiting for your custom along the Aswan Corniche. Prices start at about E£50 per hour for the boat with 'captain' and perhaps one crew. You can also arrange overnight trips, one or two nights, with food provided. Night sailing is not... More

Fantastic relaxing trip on the nile by felucca sail boat. Captain Safi speaks excellent English has a good knowledge of local history and the bird species. He is a good cook and also has extras on board if required like beer and cigarettes. He took us to a village on the west bank where we had a camel ride to... More

it is the time to relax from temples and from any stress you have.. really you will like it. I advise you to take a felucca for at least 2 hours. you have also to negotiate about the price.

Sailing down the Nile River via felucca (sailboat) may be one of the most wonderful experiences you will have in your life. Make sure you ask someone you trust... More

Sail the Nile! Anywhere on the Nile is wonderful. Our favorite is Aswan. It’s a wonderful place to just kick back and enjoy the Nile at its most scenic. A must in Aswan is a felucca trip…or any small boat trip—on the Nile any time of the day or night, but especially at sunset. A trip to the gardens on... More

We took a 3 night felucca trip down the Nile from Aswan to Edfu. It was one of the highlights of our holiday and if you have the time I would highly reccommend it.
