I was taken to this place by our tour guide. The hospitality was ofcourse above expectation but its known in egypt that for money these people can stoop down to any level....weather its in the form of serving a complimentary tea or offering some cookies. They know at the end 2/3 customer is going to buy some perfume which is... More

My partner and I visited Egypt very recently, staying in Sharm... we visited Sharm old town market where I picked up a couple of bottles of scent, but there was some pressure to buy by the shop owners...we did a day trip to Cairo which included a visit to this perfume shop...You get taken upstairs by the staff where you... If you plan to buy some perfumes while in Giza/Cairo, this is a very good option. It is a nice and decent shop where you can try out and buy perfumes without harassing or pressure. The essences smell wonderful and they are useful, since you can always put a few drops into creams and lotions and make some nice smelling... More

We liked the tea and biscuits served before the perfumes were presented. So many exotic scents, its hard to choose. Perfume in small bottles are good souvenir gift items to bring home.

We wouldn't have visited the Perfume Palace through choice and after a hot but brilliant tour of the Pyramids we groaned when our guide announced a "quick" stop, by now being used to given opportunities to buy reputable products from reputable merchants whilst on day tours, we dragged our heavy feet into the Shahinaz Perfume Palace. We were welcomed with... More

If you ever wondered about perfumes and wanted to know just how they are made , then this perfume palace is a must visit while in Egypt. Here you will be educated on the essence of perfume and of course mesmerized and confused about what to pick and what to leave.

Ended up here by mistake on the way back to our hotel one evening, the welcome was typical of the Egyptian hospitality and while we had not planned to purchase anything of this ended up as you often do in Egypt coming away with some gorgeous perfume oils.

We were not really interested in perfumes and so were not that keen on being taken here by our guide. However, if you were interested in scents, then this could be a good place for you.
