Do not accept gifts - this is a vendor technique to get money out of you. Avoid pushy camel guides - 30mins = 50 pounds - that includes a tip. Do not take a taxi to the pyramids and get dropped outside - get a private car into the complex to avoid the stress of external thugs trying to force... More

A place where you get goose bumps - 3000 BC - still available for all to see. Now this is a real wonder of the world when you think how they would have made it without the modern day technology.

The climb down and back again is something else again. Its through a shaft, so even average sized people like myself had to bend almost double, and gingerly walk down sideways like... More

The hike up to the tomb inside the pyramid is tough for tall people like me, but you don't want to miss it

The tallest structure in the world for nearly 4,000 years (until the Lincoln Cathedral in England) the pyramids are truly awe inspiring. Before going watch a documentary on the site (and then watch another!)...this will help in digesting this incredible site. Go with a guide...be prepared to approached by "touts"...sadly the best thing to do is completely ignore them..do not... More

Beware the peddlers. Your guide is right. As cruel as it seems, do not make eye contact with the peddlers. Just don't.

I/we love this place, it is truely amazing and I waited a long time to finally get here and it was worth the wait and rose above my expectations, I studied, I read books, I watched everything about the country from end to end - I cannot explain how the photos and documentaries just don't do it justice. We entered... More

Spending two hours alone with our group inside this amazing structure is incredible. There are hardly any words to describe the feeling of being inside. I loved it and would go again tomorrow if I could.
