Of course it is worth the visit,but make it early to avoid the heat and crowds.The site is less open that others,so the crowds press on you a bit. More

Brilliant to be able to see up close this enormous sphinx. Be prepared for great viewing in the heat and lots of people. More

You can no longer go up to the Sphinx, but you can get close enough to it to take great pictures. Be a bit patient to find a time when you can take pictures without anyone crowding around you.
