When you head up to the plateau through the bustling streets of Cairo, suddenly the pyramids pop out of the lansdscape and the sight is breath taking! It's beautiful. This site is still amazing. I even enjoyed the camel ride, where I was quite critical before I came there. The pyramids are extremely impressive. Be aware that it closes at around 4. The Sphinx is a bit disappointing. If the traders bother you just say Shukran, which means thank you and keep on walking without stopping or talking too... More
