Beautiful mosque, hire a Muslim taxi driver for the day to take you around Islamic Cairo. It is the "City of a Thousand Minarets, and a good man will have you climb to the top of a minaret! More

This mosque is a beautiful building with the same architectural feeling as a cathedral. Worth a visit. For a political historical feeling a visit to the grave of the last shan of Iran is interesting (a beautiful room) as are too the royal tombs. Photos allowed. The buildning it self is massive and worth an outside study as well. More
