10Eyg Entrace fee. Had lunch at the restaurant to the right as you enter the park. Lots f locals having fun! The food and service was excellent! We got there early so got a centre table looking directly to the citadel. Best gift shop in Cairo, because you are left to browse peacefully!

Biggest Green Park in Cairo.. right next to the great Citadel of Salah Al Din .. we enjoyed both the old Cairo view & the green around with lakes & fountains.. Fast food, water & drinks are available here with good prices.. or you can enjoy a fancy meal in Studio Masr Restaurant for oriental food Or the Lake Restaurant... More

This is a wonderful place to escape to from the noise and bustle of Cairo. It is a beautifully planned and well maintained park on a hillside close to the Citadel. It is child and family friendly with panoramic views of the city. It also has a reasonable restaurant. Recommended

With all the hustle and bustle of Cairo this is a good place to escape the madness. You get to see over the City if lucky enough to get a clear view

This is a park you might combine with a visit to Al Ali Mosque up there on the hill , because its sort of on the way back to Cairo down town . Its a haven of peace and tranquility and quite large a space . There are some respectable eating places here as well.

Nearly the best public gardens you'd find in Cairo, lovely sceneries of old Cairo with the minarets of Masjids, you can enjoy an open buffet at the main restaurant on Fridays or a la carte over weekdays. Have your children enjoy their time besides hashing enough scenes to capture with your camera.

This is a quiet place away from the traffic and hawkers, an opportunity to see Cairenes at leisure. Admission is 10LE. There is a pleasant restaurant (not the café nor the take out place) with outdoor seating. Food is good but expensive, service is glacial. The gift shop has some interesting wares for sale.

I have just spent a lovely day with my friends at Al-Azhar park, the place has a lovely atmosphere and still well kept although the numbers of visitors is increasing more and more. There are many places to be visited and the view from there is great specially when the weather is clear. I recommend it to every one visiting... More

This is the complete opposite of Cairo: green, clean, quiet. I strongly suggest you make this the end of one of your days. The ideal time to go is right before dusk. You can get some really good pictures of the city from here. Also, if you are here for the 5:30 prayer, it is quite an interesting sound throughout... More
