It's a pretty perfect place to spend time in. Green spot in busy cairo. Full with tall trees and many grooms and prides take photos there.it will be good chance to see the new modern wedding in cairo. Dont miss the lake and the fishes inside. In one word DON'T MISS IT

While living in Cairo one of those things you really miss is green space. This park was haven we could stroll around particularly in the cooler months, there are a number of restaurants which you can dine at offering nice food. There are nice water features as well as lots of plants and green space. Gets very busy on Fridays

Cairo city doesn't have many places for kids, so after few days of sight seeing and endless walking we were happy to find Al-Azhar park. It has a nice play area for kids. Crowded but we didn't care. A nice lake , lots of places to sit and play on the grass. A nice lake. Mini train rides for kids... More

If you feel tired from shopping in bazar and walking among old Cairo´ s houses, rest for a while in this park. There are good traditional restaurants, shop where you can buy nice souvenirs without quarreling about its price and more, it has excellent view over whole Cairo - if you are lucky and no smog is around.

This is a beautiful park and you can wander around for a few hours. Snacks and drinks were expensive by Egyptian standard. There's a little train but it only went a few 100 yards so was a real con :( and therefore was expensive. For some reason there's a little cinema in the middle, with seats that vibrate during the... A perfect place to catch a breath and to rest, after walking through old Cairo. Entry fee applies. Food and beverage rather expensive, but you can have your own on you. NO Alcohol served. Perfect architecture and style and a wonderful garden to stroll without cars and rubbish; it seems to be the cleanest open space in Egypt... Avoid weekend... More

Came here before sunset and the views were breathtaking. You get a good view of old Cairo and during sunset you hear the adhan going off at various mosque which was most appealing.

Very good for a great day with a family, friends or even for relaxing alone. Food is great and there is a huge parking lot besides the spectacular plants and green areas.
