I went to Al Azhar Park last month. A very nice garden in Cairo, Egypt. It is basically a big green area with many trees and plam trees. There are many places to sit and enjoy the view. There is a big restaurant and small food stalls. There is also a telescope to look at Cairo from the park. The... More

Al-Azhar park is nice for a stroll and a meal, a conversation or a large gathering. Most things are prohibited in the park, like balls and pets, keep that in mind while planning your day. It's fun as a kid to run around, and for older people to sit or walk. The view from the top of the hill is... More

We went to the citadel view restaurant and had a wonderful time. You can see the citadel lit up at night overlooking cairo.

Really beautiful and calm. I have heard it can be very busy but we went on an evening mid week and watched the sunset and although there were other couples and families around the park still felt lovely and calm. Some beautiful views as well and lots of people taking advantage of photo opportunities.

Nice place, especially late afternoon. Two restaurants are available, with many nice places for photographing.

The place is great for photography lovers and to relax Unless it is a holiday and half of cairo has decided to go there for a picnic The restaurants inside are either very expensive or serve low quality food so you better bring your meals with you if you decided to stay for lunch
