A perfect place to catch a breath and to rest, after walking through old Cairo. Entry fee applies. Food and beverage rather expensive, but you can have your own on you. NO Alcohol served. Perfect architecture and style and a wonderful garden to stroll without cars and rubbish; it seems to be the cleanest open space in Egypt... Avoid weekend... More

Came here before sunset and the views were breathtaking. You get a good view of old Cairo and during sunset you hear the adhan going off at various mosque which was most appealing.

Very good for a great day with a family, friends or even for relaxing alone. Food is great and there is a huge parking lot besides the spectacular plants and green areas.

We visited Cairo two weeks ago and on the Friday afternoon we went to Al Azhar Park. What a wonderful place to watch the Sunset over Cairo with outstanding views of the Citadel (Muhammed Ali Mosque) and the City of Cairo. A small payment is necessary but it is definitely worth it. Well worth the visit.

Al Azhar Park is one of the most beautiful, green places in Cairo. It can be accessed everyday, but it's very busy during weekends and public holidays. There's plenty of areas where you can walk around, as well as numerous restaurants to choose to eat in. If you're only in Cairo for a short time, you will be shocked that... More

The park is beautiful, clean with the view on Citadel. There is one good restaurant for eating good meat for the lunch or dinner. The park is fresh even if it... More

Lovely well maintained park to visit for a couple of hours away from the noise and madness of the city. Great view points and nice areas to get food and drink at good prices. Easy to pick up a taxi from main entrance to get back into town. You have to buy a ticket to get in all the parks... More

A must see attraction located atop a high hill The Al Azhar Park overlooks the old & Islamic parts of Cairo. The Al Azhar Park was very well kept with a large area of greenery, a great variety of trees and flowering plants. It gives a wonderful view of The Salah-Eldin Citadel, The Sultan Hassan Mosque as well as other... More
