this museum is amazing. it is very busy though so maybe it is best to make two visits to the museum. to see Tutenkarmen's mask and coffins and the tombs that he was buried in just blew me away. and to see how the egyptians preserved their animals - esp. the crocodiles is amazing. no photos - flash or non... more

Contrary to some of the negative reviews on here, I really enjoyed it. There was so much to see, we only managed to see a small part of the extensive collection. It was great. There were lots of ups and lots of downs. The ups would include how their are tons of ancient eghyptian artifacts that are amazing and well organized.
