Pyramids are a little different than expected, inside there wasn´t much to see. Wall were almost stripped of everything but you can see all at the Museum! You have lots of people everywhere and too much dust, should take a scarf to cover your nose if the wind is blowing. The museum was a really nice surprise, lots of artifacts... More

Look no further for amazing tour guides than Alex City Travel. We booked tours/activities/transfers with them and they did not disappoint. We visited Cairo, Luxor and Sharm-El-Sheikh during our visit to Egypt. All the transfer drivers were on time and professional. Mohamed Samir at Alex City booked all our tours for us and also provided visa assistance when we landed... More

My daughter booked this tour with Memphis Tours via the Internet and except for our experience with the Cairo Tour Manager, Mr. Abdul, we fell in love with Memphis! At first we thought it was the Egyptian culture and we ignored Abdul's rudeness but after almost two weeks in Egypt and having met many Tour Managers and Guides from Memphis... More

We took a private taxi to Giza Pyramids, when we reached the Pyramids the taxi driver insisted that we hire the horses/camels as it is 200 km walking and we would be tired. We initially refused and finally gave in because the previous day we climbed Mt Sinai. The company that hires these horses/camels would do anything to get their... More

I had a busy two week long business trip in Cairo, but did manage to to book a tour for the October 6th holiday through the Concierge at the Intercontinental Hotel Citystars, and our tour guide was a most knowledgeable and fluent young Egypotologist, Eslam Saleh Saleh (he is on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/#!/E.STALLION). My work colleague & I had an... More
