I have lived in many different parts of Seoul but Junggye is my favorite. It is quiet and peaceful with many many trees and parks and a beautiful mountain for hiking. There are also many opportunities for teaching English. There isn't a night life in Junggye but many people find nightlife around Nowon station which is only a few stops...

Two years ago I lived in Yangju, South Korea. Nowon was a good place to eat American food. It has a Bennigans, TGIF, Outback Steak, and Kryspy Cream Doughnuts all at the same intersection.
