i used KTX and check in in seoul station, then i have time to have my meal, went for Sunday Missal at Myeongdong Cathedral and did my last minute shopping (myeongdong or naedaemun) very expensive compared to commuter ( tripple the price) W11000 for KTX, only W3100 by commuter on airport line. More

Took the train from Seoul to Yeosu to Expo 2012. Beautiful train, timely, and inexpensive (in 1st class). More

Booking the tickets are easily done online from anywhere in the world. No problems with collecting the tickets from the ticketing counter at Seoul and Busan Stations. Departure and arrival are on time. The seats are comfortable, beverages and light refreshments are served on board. There is even free WiFi service. I went on the KTX when visiting Busan from Seoul. It isn't like an attraction. Its just like an express train that is completely smooth and quiet. You will get to you destination in no time. I had a nice sleep while on it. On board, they sell food and drinks - people come around with carts full of them.... More

The Airport bus staff was so unhelpful and unpleasant that we chose the train. Not as good as Hong Kong's but fast, clean and spacious. The buses might take you to your hotel, but they are old, cluttered, and the traffic can be awful. Take the train! More
