You can buy your fish or seafood fresh, have it prepared at a local restaurant, and have Avery enjoyable meal with friends in a joyous environment (most people who go there drink with their meal, so it is usually quite loud). I would have given Noriangjin Market a higher score, but it lost some points on cost. Expect to spend... More

A visit to the fish market is a must. It's fascinating to see rows upon rows of vendors selling everything from flounders to sea slugs. Just wander around and check it all out. You can also buy fish and bring it upstairs to one of the many restaurants and have them prepare it for you. We did this with a... More

Went around midnight with out food tour guide. The place was not a busy, but still plenty of open stalls and enough fresh creatures in the live tanks. As a tourist you would probably pay way to much for the fishies, and the mongers are known to switch fresh catch for dead after the sale so you have to keep... More

The fish market is very interesting and worth a visit but don't bother eating there. We paid a high price for some sea food expecting a well prepared meal. However the food was prepared without care, the side salad was wilted, the atmosphere was industrial to say the least and we had to pay extra for preparation after paying top price... More

For seafood lovers... this market is accessible by the subway and after crossing a bridge. But it was snowing pretty heavy on the day we went and both my partner and I were so tired after walking in the heavy snow, we take a cab/taxi to this market. Upon arriving this market or some of us might called it a... More

Photographers will love this place. Watch the seafood market in action, with every imagineable (and in a few cases, unimagineable!) type of seafood on display. It's like a free trip to an aquarium. Plus you get to eat the creatures on display. You can catch great photos from the second floor corridor. Take the metro to Noryangjin station. More

Noryangjin Seafood Market is a great, fun place to experience Seoul. If you want to get down and dirty, this is place to go. Not for the squeamish though as its floors are wet, it smells a lot, and there are lots of aggressive hawkers. This TripAdvisor article I helped write provides general prices, tips on how to bargain, and... More

After buy your fresh seafood, you can just hop in to any restaurant beside the market and they will process it for you with a reasonable prices too. I did both the Night Dining Tour and a private tour of Noryangjin Fish Market and had a great time at both. As a solo traveler and this being my first time in Korea, there is no way I would have been able to experience on my own the quality and authenticity that both of these tours provided. Dan's tour...
