A placew of sanity in a huge busy city. Seoul has 12 million inhabitants and a lot of them seem to be on the streets at any one time. But then along came Changyeceon, a sunken canalised stream running through the city, between Myeongdong and Insadong areas, and you can exit to reach major markets. A place of sanity in... More

This is a fabulous urban oasis in the heart of a big busy city, a testament to visionary thinking - rare in cities! Great for a walk any time, but get up early and enjoy it almost to yourself and see the wildlife that is making it home. A walk with a difference in such a city. More

Take a walk in the night with your family members and loved ones. It gives you a special view of Seoul. I walked one way to the other end in just an hour and a half. Totally recommend it! Safe even in the night, and there are always lights on. More

They made Cheonggyecheon creek into a nice walk way. You enter from near Gwanghwamun - often there are people singing or dancing near there. Once you are in Cheonggyecheon, you cannot get up to the street level until you've done your walk. It's a popular place for couples so expect to see lots of "making out" or "holding hands". Laser... I love this place. It's a 8.4km long stream right in the middle of Seoul's downtown. You can see the sound of traffic overhead and the sound of water on your side while you walk from one end to another end. More

Very romantic stream smacked in the middle of the city. Buy a salad, sandwich and coffee and just sit by the stream to enjoy the evening. More
