This is an average aerial tramway which takes you up from the city centre to a mountain top fortress. It operates until 2300hrs. You could take it one way (up) and then walk down. It is worth taking it just for a view of the city. Good value for money.

This is well worth the ride as you will be able to take some pretty amazing photos. You can also walk around at the top and see the statue of Mother Georgia up close.

Go up at night and have a romantic walk high above the city for a really memorable Tbilisi experience. Even though it was heavily sprinkling, I loved this experience!

If you love to have a good view of town but don't want to walk up the hill, this is a great alternative. Go on a clear day to get a good view. We were there on the weekend and there were lots of families and bridal parties getting their pictures taken at the big "Mother of Georgia" statue.

Lady at the casheir was really un-friendly. The ride is short, hardly took 5 photos. But again, for Georgia it is something special.

Its a nice ride to the top where you get to see the entire city from above. The travel cabins are suitable for 6 people at a time (enough seated space for each) and is only 1 GEL per ride

The cable car is a cheap and easy way to see all the city Tbilisi, no queuing and great views on the journey and on top of the hill

It cost only 1lary, if you have the public transportation card. The rise itself is really fast and brings you to the best view of the city. Do it around 6 pm just in time to catch the sunset and the city lights going up. We took the tripod and some really cool night scene pictures.

I think it was only 2 GEL ( Georgian lari) per person to use it. You will need a city card to be able to use mass transport like metro or aerial tramway. It costs something like 15 GEL. View from the top is very nice. Mother Georgia with sword waits for you at your destination. Fun to ride....
