One of the old towns you really shoud see. Old Tbilisi has a charming atmosphere and a combination of crooked and winding streets with some cozy cafes and wine shops. I really enjoyed it, we lived in a hostel located on one of the hilltops and it was great!

Too much traffic, but a delight to walk the old neighborhoods ..... lots of personality. One day with a guide, a second on our own. Very pleasant, and amazing churches.

Many top cities are not that clean! Anyway, I enjoyed the walk along the big lnog street, with shops, cafes, boutiques et,... More

Old Town Tbilisi is amazing, filled with shops and restaurants. Part of it was redone in the Saakachvili era and that part is a bit slammed up and Disney-ish. But the rest really gives you the flavor of Old Tbilisi. Lots of galleries, too.

The area near the river and south of Nicoloz Baratashvili street (for instance, near Anchiskhati church) has been restored and updated. Too much, feels a bit like a theme park. The area to the north has less changes, more street vendors, and was more interesting to explore. Less landmarks but more people. The street market at Dry Bridge was great-... More

Every stone in the way deserves a picture. Don't just think about amazing churches and historical monuments, the whole area is full of attractive corners, terraces, street shops, and all walkable.

A good combination of restored landmarks, trendy restaurants and shops, and good atmosphere. Quite walkable with signs in English pointing to the various attractions. Don't miss the old church and the synagogue. There's a building that looks like a showroom near the synagogue that has a floor of artisans shops in the basement, some of the most unique items we... This is definitely the most picturesque part of Tbilisi and it was my favorite. It could get a little touristy, but if you just wander around the little alleys, you can get away from all the touristy traps. We fully enjoyed just getting lost in this neighborhood.
