Or you can stroll the small street, to find some food. Be careful if someone approach you... More

The fee is too high for this pagoda, nothing much too see inside. Have your chauffeur drive around the roundabout to give you a good look and take photos from the pedestrian bridge outside. More

If you took the bus, so easy to get there because most of local bus stop here. Also easy to find something to buy or eat or budget price guesthouse around here, A bottle of water cost... More

The lively heart of the city. A stroll from The Strand Hotel took us past this beautiful Paya on a busy evening. Next day we returned for Thingyan (New Year and lots of water). More

In the middle of a roundabout and can be seen from a fair distance away; I didn't go inside but it was only across the road from the Garden Guest House so saw it regularly. I had already visited the Shwe Dagon so I didn't venture inside this Pagoda; there is an internet cafe in the middle of the roundabout... More

Beautiful golden pagoda a short walk from East hotel - much less awe inspiring than Shwedagon but very welcoming to two westerners walking in off the very hot street More
