Yesterday we did the White Sands City Highlights tour in Mauritius what a lovely tour, nice pace the Botanicial Gardens with the huge lily pads is a beautiful sight indeed. Our tour guide was so knowledgeable and friendly we learned heaps about Mauritius history and culture and we had an appropriate amount of time at the end for lunch and... More

We visited Yangon City on a Titan tour of Bangkok and Burma as a group of 24 people. Our Tour Manager lead us round pointing out the numerous fasciniating old buildings dating back to colonial times. Some have been renovated and some still have that faded elegance and charm. If only buildings could talk I'm sure they would offer up... More

We recently booked a day tour if Yangon with Zayar Tours. They also offered to pick us up from the airport too! We were not disappointed. We were met by Mr Latt himself,in a late model air conditioned Toyota. He is knowledgeable and personal. The private car and tour costs less than an organized tour and he will stop where... More

We recently came back from Yangon as part of our cruise to South East Asia. We visited many awesome pagodas, but the favourite one was the Island Pagoda. We had to cross the river on a small boat to the small island pagoda. Our guide, Zaw Hein was excellent with ac car, good English and reasonable prices. He picked us... More

Recently travelled to Yangon as part of a cruise. Exotissimo tours arranged 2 excellent half day tours with a first class guide named Moe . The company will tailor make tours for whatever you want to see and we were not disappointed. Our ship changed docking arrangements and because we were nor nearer to the centre we got longer tours... The Village of Yandado is nestled along the Irrawaddy River up stream near where the confluence meets with the Chindwin River. The primary industry in this sleepy little village is terra cotta pottery making. On the day of our visit we observed the various stages of pottery making, meet the owner, spoke with (through our interpreter) some of the workers... More

This seven day cruise down the Irrawaddy river is a wonderful experience though not without faults. Pandaw boats and cruises are well arranged and efficient. Cabins are small but perfectly adequate .The cruise staff are excellent (special thanks to Ton, the ever attentive steward) and Terry, the effervescent tour guide who gave a no holds account of Burma and it's... Myanmar is as packed and complex as Thailand itself. Great street food and shopping for those who love Thailand, but security and cleanliness wise is quite bad.

I have just finished a 15 day tour of Myanmar organised by Ko Tar Travels. I contacted Mr Ram Rai who suggested an itinerary which was agreed. Golden Rock, Pindaya cave, Inle Lake, Mandalay, Inwa, Bagan district, Shan district, Yangon city tour, were some points of call. The journey was made possible and thoroughly enjoyable as we were accompanied by... More

We took the Paukan river boat from Mandalay to Bagan for a 3 day/2 night cruise and really enjoyed it. The boat itself is well appointed with 2 sleeping cabin decks and an upper lounge deck. The crew are superb and look after every request. The meals are excellent. We had a cabin on the lower main deck which opened... More
