Wished I had read reviews before visiting!

Turtles were cute and gobbled up the paw paw we fed them, but the enclosures looked run down, ill maintained and crammed. It wasn't clear if this was a proper conservation or if... read more

Not only is it over priced, but the poor animals stuck in there are in a small enclosure full of stagnant water.

We didn't want to go here but ended up tagging along with another tour. The turtles are kept in small concrete enclosures WAY too small for them. The man showing us around dragged one of the larger older turtles by its fin out for the feeding and while he was doing so he proceeded to flip the poor creature over... More

We travelled down a very long road to get to see the turtles to be "greeted" by VERY RUDE staff in the office. There seemed to be a problem with the number of people in our group and we spent at least 30 minutes waiting around while a man in the office called someone. After the wait, the guy didn't... More

We didn't realise the turtles were in captivity, maybe should have asked more questions, but still enjoyed swimming with them, bit expensive if you do the tour etc, but they need the money so we didn't feel ripped off - snorkelling was better at hideaway, and current quite strong. Nice lunch and great views - interesting drive out there, our... More

We were staying in Port Vila for a week. We bussed out there with friends. Our driver enquired about price, and he came and told us $15 AUS each. Then a worker from resort came over and told us it was $18 each. I enquired why the change of price, and he blatantly ignored me. I asked him about swimming... More

The concept of this place is good, but it is ridiculously overpriced! I almost fell over when they said how much it was to get in! The kids loved looking at the turtles, crabs and lizards and feeding the large turtles, but it was low tide and the water was really murky. The place is rundown and our taxi driver... More

We took local bus out as with a group, driver told us that if we had lunch then didn't have to pay entrance fee, think it would have just been cheaper to pay entrance. Things were run down and not what I imagined. Unsure if this is a true conservation project. Kids loved seeing all the turtles up close and... More

Turtles were cute and gobbled up the paw paw we fed them, but the enclosures looked run down, ill maintained and crammed. It wasn't clear if this was a proper conservation or if the locals had caught some turtles/fish/shark and birds and built enclosures for them. There is an option to swim with the turtles/sharks and I would definitely not... More

We loved seeing the coconut crabs and turtles up close. They were amazing. We also swam with the turtles and reef sharks. An amazing expereince. Felt a little bad as their enclosure could be bigger but they seemed happy and well fed. Food at the resturant was average. But as everywhere in Vanuatu, the staff were a pleasure
