Owner description: EDGE Vanuatu is a multi-award winning Adventure Tourism Company featuring the Cascades Abseil. Our clients are transferred to the beautiful Mele Cascades, after the briefing and gear fitting you are taken on a walk to our Practice Cliff, first stopping out our Lookout. We have an 8m Practice Cliff where we teach you the basics of abseiling beside a lovely rock pool. Then it's 50 m down the waterfall in two 25 m pitches, the first passing a cave and on the second you cross underneath the waterfall before landing in the pool at the bottom and being guided back through the spectacular Mele Cascades for refreshments and a chance to view the photos from your tour.

Absolutely lovely people, the abseiling at the cascades was beyond amazing, I can't fault anything there. The round island tour was great too, however the driver was pretty scary!!! Apparently he doesn't need to slow down around corners....

Abseiling through a waterfall! If you like heights and a bit of a thrill, this is a must-do. And the staff are so friendly and take photos of the whole adventure which you can buy at the end of the experience.

Just when you think your day is going to be ruined by torrential rain, you get confirmation from Edge that the abseil will still go ahead. When we woke up in the morning before our abseil, we were pretty worried as it had been raining ALL night, and heavily at that. Edge confirmed with us that this was no problem... More

We were well looked after and the guys are very safety consious. We felt safe and secure and had an absolute blast going down... More

Superbly well organised and in spite of appearances very safe. My 13-year old daughter said it was the best thing she's ever done. Nuff said!

My partner, brother and I did this tour when we stopped in Vila on our P&O Cruise. The Cascade Waterfalls are absolutely wonderful, but to abseil down them was incredible! We had a hike up a mountain to a spot that looked out over the whole of the island. We then went to our practice site which was an 8m... More
