Our clients are transferred to the beautiful Mele Cascades, after the briefing and gear fitting you are taken on a walk to our Practice Cliff, first stopping out our Lookout. We have an 8m Practice Cliff where we teach you the basics of abseiling beside a lovely rock pool. Then it's 50 m down the waterfall in two 25 m pitches, the first passing a cave and on the second you cross underneath the waterfall before landing in the pool at the bottom and being guided back through the spectacular Mele Cascades for refreshments and a chance to view the photos from your tour. « less

This was a very enjoyable experience. If you like waterfalls, like myself, then what better way to get up close and personal by abseiling down one. I'll agree with the majority, it was a hell of a steep climb but if you're young and reasonably fit then it'll not be a problem. You are able to stop as many times... More

Our family of six with kids between 21 and 9 had a cracker of a time. The 9 year old struggled a bit but the edge team were great.

Had the absolute best time doing this activity! It was my third trip to Port Vila, and definitely the best thing we've done there. Would do it again in a heartbeat. As others have said, it's a steep climb to the top, muddy in places (wear shoes with good grip, not water shoes), but when you are abseiling DOWN a... More

My husband and I recently participated in the Abseil down the 50m waterfall at Mele Cascades in Vila, and it was the best thing we have every done. We are in our 50's and have never done anything like this before and I am also scared of heights. We are reasonably fit but the climb up to the top was... More

A great adrenalin rush not for the faint hearted. It was awesome, we were happy when we finished it as it wasn't an easy hike. The guides were well trained and very patient and helpful. Thoroughly recommend it. Would have done it again but the cost was a little too expensive especially seeing you pay an entry which is inclusive... More

It was worth it. I got to practice cliff and was ready to quit before I even took my first step. They managed to get me down and then it was on the big one. The views was amazing and it was a great thrill . The staff were friendly and very safety oriented.

Opportunity to see the Mele cascade falls from the top-middle-and bottom whereas the only other way is to see it from the bottom (and you still have to pay an entry fee). Minimal fitness required - you DO have to ascend 50-80 metres but the guide stops regularly and you get rehydrated halfway up. PRO's - Great experience. Basic training... More

This was worth doing, view was great as was the experience. We went whilst the owner was away which definitely affected the customer service, however we were assured at our hotel that this was not normally the case. Overall I would recommend attending.

My friend suggested we try this out, I'm not the best with heights but despite my fears I made it thru the training and the 50m waterfall thanks to the professionalism of the staff. Despite being scared I felt safe at all times and they reassured us every step of the way. A must do for your trip to vanuatu!
