Owner description: EDGE Vanuatu is a multi-award winning Adventure Tourism Company featuring the Cascades Abseil. Our clients are transferred to the beautiful Mele Cascades, after the briefing and gear fitting you are taken on a walk to our Practice Cliff, first stopping out our Lookout. We have an 8m Practice Cliff where we teach you the basics of abseiling beside a lovely rock pool. Then it's 50 m down the waterfall in two 25 m pitches, the first passing a cave and on the second you cross underneath the waterfall before landing in the pool at the bottom and being guided back through the spectacular Mele Cascades for refreshments and a chance to view the photos from your tour.

Completed the absail with my girlfriend and her bestfriend, was not disappointed! Was an extreme experience with incredible staff that make every minute of the tour fun! Warren the man that is in charge is such a great guy with heaps of experience and knowledge to help you if you are scared of heights like me, guiding me through every... More

It takes a bit of physical strength to get to the top of the waterfall. We were panting by the time we got to the top and was provided with a cup of water (you could refill however we had to make sure there was enough for all) however absolutely worth it. We were with a group of approx 12... More

Getting to the top of the waterfall takes a little effort, but it's well worth it. The team is super friendly in guiding you through Abseiling 101 and after a little practise trip, you head for the waterfall and down you go. The view and scenery is phenomenal and the actual abseiling was a blast. Highly recommend this to anyone.

Wonderful day. Enjoyed the abseiling immensely and the crew were great at explaining what to do. The photos we bought afterwards were fantastic and the location is stunning.

Absolutely lovely people, the abseiling at the cascades was beyond amazing, I can't fault anything there. The round island tour was great too, however the driver was pretty scary!!! Apparently he doesn't need to slow down around corners....

Abseiling through a waterfall! If you like heights and a bit of a thrill, this is a must-do. And the staff are so friendly and take photos of the whole adventure which you can buy at the end of the experience.

Just when you think your day is going to be ruined by torrential rain, you get confirmation from Edge that the abseil will still go ahead. When we woke up in the morning before our abseil, we were pretty worried as it had been raining ALL night, and heavily at that. Edge confirmed with us that this was no problem... More

We gave this a go in October at the end of our trip. My best friend and I are both afraid of heights and we were nervous about signing up, but we had nothing to fear. We were well looked after and the guys are very safety consious. We felt safe and secure and had an absolute blast going down... More

Superbly well organised and in spite of appearances very safe. My 13-year old daughter said it was the best thing she's ever done. Nuff said!
