EDGE Vanuatu is a multi-award winning Adventure Tourism Company featuring the Cascades Abseil. Our clients are transferred to the beautiful Mele Cascades, after the briefing and gear fitting you are taken on a walk to our Practice Cliff, first stopping out our Lookout. We have an 8m Practice Cliff where we teach you the basics of abseiling beside a lovely rock pool. Then it's 50 m down the waterfall in two 25 m pitches, the first passing a cave and on the second you cross underneath the waterfall before landing in the pool at the bottom and being guided back through the spectacular Mele Cascades for refreshments and a chance to view the photos from your tour.

I wish they'd warned us about the climb up the hill, but the experience itself was worth it. Abseiling down a waterfall is just an incredible experience and it's not a small waterfall. I'd never abseiled but I wasn't scared as the safety procedures were very well done. if you like to live a little, definitely do it.

Abseiling down Mele Cascade was a trip highlight. The whole team were very professional and very safety conscious. A short but steep walk to the top of the waterfalls and an amazing abseil down, right through the waterfall.

Abseiling at Mele Cascades was fantastic. We were lucky it had been raining quite a bit so we experienced the rushing waterfalls in all their glory! A challenging hike to the top of the waterfalls, slippery and extremely steep some parts we had to use a rope and it was a bit of a scramble, also you are abseiling using... More

This is a not-to-miss experience in Vanuatu! Warren and his team are complete professionals and they really make sure the whole experience is fun. The walk up to the waterfall takes about 25 minutes and it could be a bit of a challenge if you're not used to walking up hills. At the top the team show you what to... More

It takes a bit of physical strength to get to the top of the waterfall. We were panting by the time we got to the top and was provided with a cup of water (you could refill however we had to make sure there was enough for all) however absolutely worth it. We were with a group of approx 12... More

Getting to the top of the waterfall takes a little effort, but it's well worth it. The team is super friendly in guiding you through Abseiling 101 and after a little practise trip, you head for the waterfall and down you go. The view and scenery is phenomenal and the actual abseiling was a blast. Highly recommend this to anyone.

Wonderful day. Enjoyed the abseiling immensely and the crew were great at explaining what to do. The photos we bought afterwards were fantastic and the location is stunning.

Absolutely lovely people, the abseiling at the cascades was beyond amazing, I can't fault anything there. The round island tour was great too, however the driver was pretty scary!!! Apparently he doesn't need to slow down around corners....
