Great collection of historical artifacts and photographs from Palau's history-German, Japanese, American, independent. Palau team Olympics memorabilia, too. Well done. More

We stopped here on a rainy day and it was actually very interesting. Worth the visit and a great way to learn about the country's history and traditions. More

When we visited, a lot of the exhibition space was dedicated to relations with the countries that have impacted Palau's history. The information was fine, just not what I am mainly interested in. The bit at the end, with plants and insects, was much nicer :-) More

Museum gives a good overview of Palau history and culture. Many interesting old photographs and local art, but also several very random things too (like a poster of famous germans?!) More

I visited this museum over the Etpison museum as it is a government museum as opposed to a private museum. So much information & well laid out. More

Has a slightly outdated exhibit about Palau's recent history under colonial rule (Germany, Japan, and briefly US). I was actually most interested in the beginning that had prehistoric Palauan creation stories and artifacts, but this was a small part of the exhibit. Strangely, they have a great section on Taiwan's native culture. More

I was really impressed with the National Museum! We were visiting as part of a tour, so we only got to spend about 45 minutes, I could certainly have stayed much longer. Well worth the small $5 admission. Upstairs there was an excellent display of the history of the island (including the Spanish, German and Japanese occupations). Downstairs was a... More
