The falls are great, you can rach them by doing a jungle hike on a path, but for the more adventurous it is possible to walk in the river instead. There is also a small train propelled by a lawnmower engine for those who don't like to hike, and there is even a zip line, but only a portion of... More

A little anti climatic but still a strong hike. It's hot, bring water. Some swimming holes in the river at the bottom. More

The hike down is awesome, with beautiful natural pools and smaller waterfalls along the way. One of the most beautiful waterfalls I've ever seen! And you can go stand right under the water. Plus, they've thought of everything--hiking sticks, sock boots, everything. MUST SEE! More

On our last day in Palau we decided to rent a car. Unfortunately we ended up with a large car due to shortages with rental companies. It worked out, for about $80 we were able to travel around the island at our leisure. We headed around the island and eventually made our way to Ngardmau Falls, besides the weather it... More

Take a monorail tram, zip line, or simply hike down to these moderately large water falls. We chose to hike, and unfortunately my wife twisted her ankle pretty bad along the way. Therefore, I would recommend to take the hike slow, and devote several hours to truly enjoy what is perhaps the best eco-tourist option for the Island of Babledaob... More

We rented a car and drove ourselves up to the waterfall. It was a very easy drive and very easy to find. The hike in and out is challenging by do-able. If you're not up for the hike, you can zip-line in, or ride the mini-monorail. They have a way to get anyone to the falls. Once you're there, the... More

The falls are located on the Badeldoab, which is the "big island" of Palau, about a 30-minute drive from Palau. Most dive/tour operators offer an all-day land tour that includes the Ngardmau Falls along with other sites on Badeldoab (such as the stone monoliths, WWII gun emplacements, local village, and national capital building). I would recommend just a trip to... More
