Pleasant beach to wander along

Very pretty little bay. Nice place for a swim and to wander past the cafes. More to see than around the corner near the Hilton hotel.

Baie de Citrons is very popular with the locals and sometimes can be busy on sunny weekends. It is a relatively small beach, but its attraction with the locals is the plethora of Cafe's & Restaurants that run for its length on the otherside of the the road. Lots of good food, great coffee and ideal for people watching. Being... More

The beach was worth a visit but the only down side is that there are only certain parts that you can swim in due to the pollution which in some parts you can see floating.

The most amazing sand you will ever feel. The pontoons further out were the best bit where you could just lay there. Not as crowded as Ans Vata.

Showers on beach, but sand is stony and some coral which needs to be walked on carefully, water not rough and clear. On a sunny day you could swim forever..there are two pontoons just off shore for those who like to dive and have place to swim too.

The best for swimming as sheltered, pontoons to swim out to and completely safe. Easy walking distance, clean, showers and toilets. At night turns into a food paradise with lots to see and do.

Last night the pompiers have planted signs all over the beach from Anse Vata to la Baie des Citrons due to pollution otherwise pleasant enough.A nice stroll fron Anse vata to lemon bay in the early morning

Once again a nice safe beach. Kids loved climbing the trees too. Amarino ice-cream and sorbets a real hit. Caught the bus back to Anse Vata.

great beach with no surf. Easily accessible and a great spot to relax and soak in the sunset. Plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from nearby.

Excellent wee beach to relax at. Heaps of trees along the bank. Showers and toilets scattered along the bay. Wooden seats and tables. Restaurants and convenience shops across the road. You can't ask for much more. And that is without mentioning the clear water. It is like warm bath water even in April!
