This is a really professional dive company and it was lovely to spend a day with them! The diving was just superb - and we rated it as good as the best in the Pacific - almost as good as in the Solomon Islands. If you want to go diving in New Caledonia, you won't go wrong with a day... More

Our day started off perfectly - not a breath of wind and the sea like a millpond. Lionel picked us up from our hotel and took us up to the marina (we got to see rush hour in Noumea!). We got kitted out in wetsuits, fins, etc (nice gear) and walked over to the boat (very close). There were only... More

Only company that does night dives. I'm not a fan of the zodiac boat to get to the dive sites cause it's windy and chilly on way back to the marina. If you have high blood pressure, diabetes or other common ailments be sure to bring a note from your doctor that it's ok for you to dive or don't... More

I just had two days (4 dives) with Abyss and the experience was terrific. They are very safety conscious during the dive, always checking on divers, assisting them as necessary, and the pre dive brief is well structured. All the divers on my trips were French speaking but they still ran through the whole briefing in English just for me.... More

With a day to spare in Noumea last week, my daughter and I decided to do a couple of boat dives with these guys. (Thank you TripAdvisor) From our initial interaction I was happy; their website in to really English Friendly, however a phone call to them directly put our minds at ease, and there was no problem arranging the... On our recent visit to Noumea I had the pleasure of diving with this dive "club". In total I got in 10 dives. During that time I was lucky enough to get 2 good wreck dives and have 3 decent dives watching different schools of sharks interact. The operation was very well run with safety very clearly of great importance.... More

I did one day trip diving with Abyss. They are very professional, high safety concern, equipment and gears are new and well maintenance. Staff are friendly and helpful. Hotel pick up service is available. Booking in advance is a must. Booking by phone is a bit difficult as they might out of office to dive and no voice recorder to... More

I completed my PADI open water with Abyss in December 2014. First thing to highlight is that all the team speaks English enough to direct the course, give instructions and drop a few jokes along the way. I did not find these in many other places around New Caledonia. They are very punctual and organised, and always care for security... More

I did 3 days / 6 dives with Denis and can recommend Abyss as well-organised. I used my own diving gear, but their gear appeared very good and quite new. The dives spots were varied and they made appropriate choices each day based on conditions and briefed divers well. We had good to very good visibility. Highlights were a dive... More
