On our recent visit to Noumea I had the pleasure of diving with this dive "club". In total I got in 10 dives. During that time I was lucky enough to get 2 good wreck dives and have 3 decent dives watching different schools of sharks interact. The operation was very well run with safety very clearly of great importance.... More

I did one day trip diving with Abyss. They are very professional, high safety concern, equipment and gears are new and well maintenance. Staff are friendly and helpful. Hotel pick up service is available. Booking in advance is a must. Booking by phone is a bit difficult as they might out of office to dive and no voice recorder to... More

I completed my PADI open water with Abyss in December 2014. First thing to highlight is that all the team speaks English enough to direct the course, give instructions and drop a few jokes along the way. I did not find these in many other places around New Caledonia. They are very punctual and organised, and always care for security... More

I did 3 days / 6 dives with Denis and can recommend Abyss as well-organised. I used my own diving gear, but their gear appeared very good and quite new. The dives spots were varied and they made appropriate choices each day based on conditions and briefed divers well. We had good to very good visibility. Highlights were a dive... More

My twin 14y/o children and I chose Abyss Plongee because of the other ratings, and it surpassed our expectations. Professional operation, new gear and boat. Always felt safe and they were skilled at finding unique sea life. I have dived over 20 times all over the world and this would be one of the top 3 dives. Small group of... More

After researching a few companies, I certainly made the right choice to do a day dive trip with Abyss. Not only with the price, but a hotel pick up/drop off was included, high quality and maintained equipment was provided, tea and biscuits in-between dives, friendly instructors who all spoke very good English, the day ran very smoothly and the company... Abyss is a well organised company offering great service, good quality gear, and great local knowledge. They speak some english and provided a pick up/ drop off service from our hotel which was great, as it isn't that centrally located! My partner and I did 6 dives over three days and saw some great dive sites full of fish, turtles,... More

Really impressed, agree a little difficult to find if you don't know where it is. Gear was very good, steel tanks. Group was great, allround a very good operation. I'll certainly be using them again if I can. Two boats left in the morning, one with open water divers and one with advanced, great to see the two groups split.... More

Today, I completed one of my most enjoyable dives ever. I dived with abyss plongee, Finding them was a little bit of a challenge to me as I did not understand the French address, however once found, no problems. the next morning we needed to be there by 7.15 am. I arrived on time, procedures were quite straight forward, the... More
