The place is fine, ok for a days outing. Port Moresby is not the most attractive city (town) but the birds of paradise etc are worth seing

Really interesting place to visit. Must dress appropriately to be able to get inside the building but is worth it.

Beautiful building, worth a quick visit , it was closed at the time , but the taxi driver drove me though the back entrance , and I had a quick walk around Nicely landscaped with plants Some minor maintenance building issue , but worth the visit .

The signs re dress standards at the front security gate might put you off but appear to relate to if you want to meet a minister (we all entered with t-shirts, thongs and shorts). The breeze is great on a hot day, the display of butterfly's, moths and stick insects was a surprise and tour of the chamber very well... More

The Parliament house is unique and beautiful, you will not say that about any other buildings in Port Moresby! The guides are informal but knowledgeable and if you know a little of the PNG history it will help you appreciate the visit. Surprisingly you may be most impressed by the collection of insects (dead sadly) and the huge "totem" pole... More

Built in the style of a Maprik Haus Tambaran (house of spirits), this impressive building was opened in 1984. Parliament House is an interesting place whether parliament is on or not. The lake is simply beautiful.

The building and the surrounding are beautiful. The architecture is based on Spirit Houses found near Wewak.

We only saw the building from the outside but were impressed by the building and grounds. As it was very hot and there were not much shade about we did not stay long. A quick pic and off we went.

The National Parliament House in Port Moresby is a marvellous builing. The gardens & man made lake are a joy to behold, teeming with giant tilapia, barrumundi & a variety of other fish. The Sir Rabbie Namialu Orchid Garden is the venue for The Orchid Society Of PNG Inc's annual Orchid Show. This is not to be missed. Scheduled for... More

From the collections of insects in the foyer alongside the portraits of past Prime Ministers to the ponds out the front. It was a nice visit to view a relatively new Countries democratic house and hear stories of their emergence as a nation. Enjoy it like i did.
