Words can hardly describe the Kokoda Track (as we Aussies call it) and what it feels like to walk in the footsteps of all the diggers who gave their lives and suffered so much almost 75 years ago. The descendants of the original Fuzzy Wuzzy Angels who helped our soldiers so much back then, still live in the beautiful villages... More

Returned on 12 June from walking the Kokoda Track again. My son was to go with me but was unable to at the last minute. Anyway I'm glad I did it. As usual I trekked with No Roads (I always state that I am friends with a Kokoda Guide and have climbed Mt Tambora in Indonesia with the owner of... More

My daughter and friend accompanied me on the Kokoda Trek in April 2015 to coincide with the 100yrs celebration of ANZAC. What an amazing place to remember and pay homage to our fallen soldiers. We chose Peregrine who use South Sea Horizon (SSH) and is one of a few local treking companies that have local guides as well as porters.... More

In May 2015, we walked the Kokoda Trail with Kokoda Trekking. It's an amazing and unforgetful experience. We've done some trips, Kilimanjaro, Annapurna..., but this is like no others! The untouched jungle, the thick greens, the slippery mud, the swamp, the creeks, the rain, the people, the history, the hardship ... everything about it is one of a kind. The... More

In April 2015 I walked the Kokoda Track with Adventure Kokoda on a Centenary of ANZAC trek, and I will treasure my memories of that adventure for a lifetime. Chad Sherrin and Bernie Rowell were our trek leaders. Chad and Bernie have an incredible understanding of the 1942 Kokoda campaign and they generously shared their knowledge of the war and... More

Just finished my second trek with Kokoda Trekking and would not think of using any other trekking company. It is a hard slog made easy by the wonderful porters helping where needed and informing, distracting or entertaining the rest of the time. Kokoda Trekking are professional from initial enquiries to making sure you are on the plane returning home. My... More

If you like pushing yourself and have a passion for Australian wartime history then this is a must. The Trail is long and tough but well worth the pain. The trek organised by Adventure Kokoda was everything I expected plus an extra 80 kms or so of extra curricular points of interest! If your up for the complete package that... More

My son and I trekked the track for the 100th anniversary of Anzac. Our trek guide Kevin Mansfield of Unforgettable Adventures was simply amazing. His knowledge of the track is superb, he showed us things that other groups just passed by. I cant tell you how emotional the Dawn service was at Isurava memorial other than, we will never ever... For years I have wanted to walk the Kokoda Trail and finally after all the training and hard work I managed to walk this amazing trail. It was so absolutely wonderful and would recommend that any one give it a go, you will be amazed by the whole experience. The only draw back was the trekking company I went with,... More

At 69,I thought it might have been too late to complete the original wartime trails. Having just completed it on Anzac Day, I can honestly say that the assistance and organisation of the staff of Adventure Kokoda, together with team leader Charlie Lynn, was a huge challenge and a fantastic experience. Charlie's knowledge of the battle area's during the second world... More
