In April 2015 I walked the Kokoda Track with Adventure Kokoda on a Centenary of ANZAC trek, and I will treasure my memories of that adventure for a lifetime. Chad Sherrin and Bernie Rowell were our trek leaders. Chad and Bernie have an incredible understanding of the 1942 Kokoda campaign and they generously shared their knowledge of the war and... More

Just finished my second trek with Kokoda Trekking and would not think of using any other trekking company. It is a hard slog made easy by the wonderful porters helping where needed and informing, distracting or entertaining the rest of the time. Kokoda Trekking are professional from initial enquiries to making sure you are on the plane returning home. My... More

If you like pushing yourself and have a passion for Australian wartime history then this is a must. The Trail is long and tough but well worth the pain. The trek organised by Adventure Kokoda was everything I expected plus an extra 80 kms or so of extra curricular points of interest! If your up for the complete package that... More

My son and I trekked the track for the 100th anniversary of Anzac. Our trek guide Kevin Mansfield of Unforgettable Adventures was simply amazing. His knowledge of the track is superb, he showed us things that other groups just passed by. I cant tell you how emotional the Dawn service was at Isurava memorial other than, we will never ever... For years I have wanted to walk the Kokoda Trail and finally after all the training and hard work I managed to walk this amazing trail. It was so absolutely wonderful and would recommend that any one give it a go, you will be amazed by the whole experience. The only draw back was the trekking company I went with,... More

At 69,I thought it might have been too late to complete the original wartime trails. Having just completed it on Anzac Day, I can honestly say that the assistance and organisation of the staff of Adventure Kokoda, together with team leader Charlie Lynn, was a huge challenge and a fantastic experience. Charlie's knowledge of the battle area's during the second world... More

After living in PNG and having had family serve on the track in WWII it was a must for us to walk the track. With the help of local porters and some pre walk training and preparation this was a life changing experience. The locals are such wonderful people and our tour group was excellent. An eye opener and a... More

I recently returned from walking the Kokoda Trek with Escape Trekking Adventures. The trek was absolutely amazing and Escape Trekking Adventures were fantastic! Shane and Tina were brilliant from the moment I enquired about the trek - responding promptly to any and all questions that I asked. Shane provided a wealth of information prior to our arrival in PNG, which... More

I have just returned from walking the Kokoda track with Escape Trekking Adventures. It was an amazing trip. I can highly recommend Escape Trekking and I am very glad I chose to go with them. I chose Escape Trekking because of the genuine, informative and prompt responses I received from Shane following my initial enquiry. The idea of a smaller... More

I just completed the ANZAC Centenary trek with Charlie Lynn from Adventure Kokoda and I can honestly say that my life has changed for the best! The trek is very physically, emotionally and mentally challenging though with Charlie at your side there really isn't a day that you cant get through without a laugh and smile! Charlie's passion for PNG... More
