This tour was very difficult to get on...but worth the trouble.. The falls are amazing and it makes you understand how small you are in this world...It was an experience like no other...Go see it for yourself...Take note: - it costs about 190 to 225US -During Summer holidays more tours are offered by the many operators evergreen, roraima, air services etc.... We booked with Wonderland Tours-$220/person for the four hour tour, no lunch included. I was later told this could be done for much cheaper but the time of year (Easter) and the tour company mark up pushed the price up considerably. The flight leaves from Ogle. We were delayed for 1.5 hours with not much communication from the tour company... More

This was an absolutely amazing experience! I had taken my retired Father who, a native of Guyana, had never travelled his own country's majestic Falls. He was extremely impressed not only by the Falls but by the service provided by Evergreen Adventures. We so recommend taking the time to enjoy this spectacular site in the beautiful Guyana! More

Did this last fall and on a business return decided to check out the falls again. The falls are magnificant in the fact they are still pretty much in their pristine state without hot dog stands, jewlery booths, railings and night lights. Just natural. One could stand and imagine hundreds of years ago it would have been just the same.... More

Travelled overland by 4wd, river boat and on foot. Took 3 days to get there and fulfilled for me a lifetimes ambition to see the falls I'd heard about as a child. Sometimes such a dream disappoints, but this one was more than I had dreamed. Just wonderful to see and experience. By staying overnight we were able to witness... More

One of the last of the untouched wonders of the world, it was something I had to see. I booked my trip through Wonderland Tours in Georgetown, which charters flights through Roraima Airways. We paid $200 which includes the flight and lunch. From friends who went before, we knew the trip is always susceptible to the weather, but the woman... More

If you happen to be in Guyana, you have to see this. It might not be cheap to get to this remote waterfall, but it is definitely worth it. You take a small plane to get there. Impressive flight over the rain forest. And the fall, so big, such magnificent views. You might be lucky and see the golden frog... More

In late july 2011 I booked the overland trek to Kaieteur Falls. It began with 2 nights in Georgetown and then we took a mini bus to Mahdia to start up the Potaro River. We had some problems on the trip, missing a connection and waiting for hours for a boat to get us at one location, but all in... More

Kaieteur Falls is the largest drop waterfall in the Americas, close to 240 metres, or about 4 times higher than Niagara Falls in Canada. Located five days by land or approximately an hour away by plane from Georgetown, Guyana's capital city, the falls are situated within a National Park deep in the interior of the country. Several airlines offer tours... More

The highest perpendicular drop of any waterfall in the world. This drop ( 641 feet )is five times the height of Niagara falls. I was taken with the scenes, the flora and fauna. More
