We went as a group to the park on a Sunday in October 2014. We joined a pick up soccer group just for fun. Left my small backpack on the sidelines. After 3 minutes of play I turned to check by bag, it was gone! Beware of thieves. It's really everywhere in the city, can't trust anybody. At the park,... More

You can turn 360 degrees and all you see is history, from the Colombian senate, the Bogotá Cathedral, the house of the President, Santa Clara Convent and a bunch of personages that are looking to sell you pictures or a ride in an Alpaca, it is all part of this Plaza

Need a walk in a park, this would be the main one in Bogota. It is a very large park with vendors selling food, kites, and frisbees. There is a lake where you can kayak or take other small boats. There are multiple playground areas, paths, fields and an open area for concerts. Next door is the Botanical Gardens and... More

This park is really nice for lengthy strolls. One has a nice view of surrounding hills. There are plenty of kiosks to get something to eat or drink. Prices are reasonable. There is also an option to kayak in the pond, but as far as I know they only operate during weekends. During weekdays the park is certainly not overcrowded.... More

Yeah, its an open plaza. it is a bit dingy but there is lots of hustle and bustle and some decent people watching. Plus it is conveniently located by plenty of the museums, shopping and some good restaurants.
