This park is really nice for lengthy strolls. One has a nice view of surrounding hills. There are plenty of kiosks to get something to eat or drink. Prices are reasonable. There is also an option to kayak in the pond, but as far as I know they only operate during weekends. During weekdays the park is certainly not overcrowded.... More

Yeah, its an open plaza. it is a bit dingy but there is lots of hustle and bustle and some decent people watching. Plus it is conveniently located by plenty of the museums, shopping and some good restaurants.

Very large. Scenic views. Pleasant to walk around (the lake). Plenty of playgrounds for children. Paddle boats. A great retreat from the usual traffic noise and fumes that make Bogota an unpleasant place to walk around.

We walked all around the lake and people-watched. There are many vendors selling food and boats for rent as well. If you're itching for a quieter activity in nature without leaving the city, then this is the spot.

My boyfriend and I went to the park today at about 4pm only to find it was shut this afternoon (and tomorrow afternoon, not sure if this is a regular thing) for fumigation. We decided to go just across the street instead to a pretty looking place with small manmade hills and blue flowers overlooking some mountains, here, 2 teenage... More

A "must see" if visiting Bogota. A meeting place of all people of Bogota. A starting place for a tour of the attractions in Bogota.

I went here on a bank holiday Monday and the place was full of locals flying kites. There were literally hundreds and hundreds. It was so cool to see. Apparently kite flying season is in August but if you go any other time of the year the park is still very nice with plenty of open spaces to chill out.
