Simon Bolivar is roughly the same size as New York Central Park, with the exception it is dissected at numerous points by big roads. It gets super busy at weekends, so arrive early if you are wanting to park a car, otherwise there are plenty of entrances a taxi can drop off at. There are free concerts, families having picnics... During our visit the weather was beautiful, sunny and in the 70's, so no better time to take a stroll through a park. It was peaceful and relaxing, but the park is not that large. Worth a visit if you are in the area, but not a destination.

Colombia knows how to build great parks which are generally way better than we have in the U.S. Lots of open space, well kept and green with some beautiful views. A great park for outdoor lovers. Be prepared though, you have to actually pay money to use the restroom.

Sprawling park with great views. We went on a weekday and found it wonderfully empty and serene. We were in the Botanical Garden earlier, so we were able to walk over. Worth a visit if you're in the area.

Beautiful park very well located. nice grounds where you can walk, run, picnic, rent a paddle boat (weekends as far as I know) and drink some natural juice after some exercise. It also has a park for kids and Parking.

This park is the largest urban park in Bogota. It's huge, with a long jogging track, and large lake, it's where many important concerts are held - including "Rock al Parque". A great place to visit on a sunny afternoon.

This beautiful park is located in the heart of the City. It boasts walking and bike trails, a huge lake with boat rentals, well manicured lawns and the tranquility of a country retreat. We spent a wonderful day walking around the lake and enjoying the trails and scenery. It is also located close to the Botanical Gardens and Amusement Park,... More

It's a beautiful and way organized place for locals to practice sports and just be in open air taking it easy. You'll be delighted by the calm and tranquility. It has a lake and some areas for soccer as well as lots of grass to open a cloth and enjoy a picnic.

I visited just before midday on a 'holiday' Monday and was surprised at how quiet it was. There was only one entrance open, which if you get off the main Transmilenio at Simon Bolivar then you have to walk half way round the exterior to get in!! However, it is a lovely and well-maintained giant green space in the middle... More
