This was the perfect way to spend our first afternoon in Bogota and to get out into the city. We met Juan Carlos at a restaurant famous for its empanadas and it just got better from there. My daughter is sometimes a bit reluctant to try new things so I was a bit worried she might not eat anything but... More

Our guide was Antonuela and she was amazing. She introduced us to so many delicious foods and shared her knowledge of both food and the city along the way. She owns a restaurant and has traveled the world sharing and learning about food, so we knew we were in good hands. We had fruit, soup, empanadas - more food than... More

Everything we tasted and drank was delicious, and there was so much food you're covered for lunch and dinner. Maybe have a small snack late in the evening after this tour. Come hungry! Food and drink are included in the price. The guide, Juan Carlos, was fun, friendly, and very knowledgeable. This tour was a great introduction to regional specialties... More

We enjoyed our experience on this food tour. It was a great way to ease into the city. We took the tour on our first day and it helped us to get to know a little bit more about the people and their connection with food, especially the fruit - fantastic selection. We are glad we didn't over do it... More

We came in to Bogota with just a 24-hour layover and wanted to ensure the best experience possible with authentic Colombian food. Diana's Chapinero food tour was a great choice, and money well spent. She took us on a walking tour of Chapinero with stops at five unique food locations. We had small dishes and/or items at each that were... More

We had a great time on our food tour with Diana. We sampled many specialties including ajiaco, empanadas, and arepas. Having already had some juices the day before it was nice to go to a fruit market and learn the native fruits from which the juices are made. The highlight of the tour was a blood sausage made in the... More

Had an amazing time on the food tour with Diana. It was very interesting learning about the local foods and fruits. I travel quite a bit and was very impressed at Diana's knowledge and passion about her country and its food. The best part of the tour was going to a local fruit market and seeing and tasting so many... More

I had a great time on the food tour with Diana and I am so glad I didn't eat beforehand! We went to several locations and tried many different dishes, fruits, and drinks. Diana explained the history and process of everything we tried and she was able to explain how each dish has a part in Colombians' lives. I liked... More

Diane did a fabulous job introducing us to the foods of Columbia. Everything we tasted was delicious. The food was accompanied by Diane understanding of the ingredients, how they are cooked best, and their cultural context. She gave us insights into today's Columbia that are difficult to learn as a tourist. The highlight for me was going to a fruit... More
