I liked the museum. It is not huge, so it takes about an hour to see around. It has good collection of masks and differnet hats and mask mafe of colourful feathers. The collection of ceramic is pretty modest. tehre is also snmall collection of textile. Nice courtyard with beautiful colonial architecture. The entrance fee is 15 bs. More

FAscinating displays of masks, weaving and pottery, from pre=Columbian to contemporary. Very well curated More

Worth some time. Get a guided tour if you can, as most exhibits are only in Spanish. More

We were a little disappointed after reading the reviews, for one thing the museum is no longer free (5 bolivianos for nationals, 15 for extranjeros), and according to my Bolivian friend had much less to show than in the past. The main reason we visited was that it was free and there were loos... We are very glad we did. The museum is in a delightful courtyard house built for the Marques de Villaverde at the end of the 18thC. Even if you don't stop to look at the exhibits, go through the doorway to admire the courtyard with carved... More

The museum is not very big but worth visiting. Especialy the 1st floor is very stunning. The room with traditional dancing masks is the best of the museum.
