At first I couldn't really find out what I expected of the Coca museum, but when I came in, felt the atmosphere and went through, I was amazed. Eventough it's a small museum it's really good and rich on information on the use of Coca in the Andes countries, and in the Western world. At the same time it got... More

This museum was in a run down building and they basically give you a readers manual on the history of coca leaves and you walk around the building with your manual and match the manual text/sections up with the pictures and history displayed on the walls. It was cheap to get in so I didn't completely waste my money here.... More

The information provided was in a book that you read and followed through a series of pictures. Best part was being shown how to properly chew coca leaves. More

It is really interesting to learn the history of coca and what it means to Bolivians. You will not believe some of the things you will learn. More

Coca is a great part of bolivian culture. They have been chewing it for thousands of years, and I thought this museum would teach me a great deal on it's importance and implications. It did, but it has some facts wrong, for example, the relationship between coca cola, cocaine and the Dry Law in the usa. In the museum it... More

Is a good museum. Could do with more interactive exhibits like trying the coca leaves. More

This place is worth visiting, but the exhibits are a little bit staid. The real attraction for me was the cafe upstairs. We had coca tea and coca cookies and we had a really nice time recovering from altitude problems there. More

It is self guided from little paperback books they give you. OKAY, but not mind blowing. It is educational, however, and I learned a good bit. More

This place has a great little cafe, that you should definitely visit after you spend some time learning about coca. I would definitely place this high on the list of things to see in La Paz. More
