One of the things to see in La Paz. Don't expect an English speaking tour guide. There are readers in both Spanish and English. It's a couple blocks away from Witches Market and makes a great addition to a walking afternoon. More

The cathedral is definitely worth a visit. For 20 Bs you get an English speaking guide, who guide you through the cathedral and explaine everything. I took nice pictures of the cloister and the garden. View from the bell tour is nice as well. I would recommend to visit the cathedral. More

We paid our entry fee and were instantly met by a guide to show us around. She explained all the areas that we were allowed in to with great detail and I dont think we would have enjoyed the church half as much otherwise. The church is large, lovely and mostly austere by SA standards (apart from behind the alter). The museo at 20 BS pp is relatively expensive compared to what else you can get for 20 BS - but the view from the bell tower is worth it.
