You must know that this hotel was designed by a disciple of Pablo Picasso. That in itself says quite a bit about the extraordinary architecture. About the exterior design, well, it reminded me of something straight from the set of Star Wars. Tired, old hotel but in a fantastic location. Rooms are basic with scarily old plumbing and the corridors are very dark and badly-lit. Lots of stairs and few handrails- in the UK, Health and Safety would close it down! Poor food and service, eg: reception did not pass on a message to us until 11.00pm, when it had been received... more

The place was really beautiful. Every photo you will see of this place will make it look magical. We had a good time here, but there were definitely some issues.
