Walking on peninsula, you find sea lions sleeping on the porto... Beautiful walk and view. Many restaurants around and places to seat and relax.

Well located right in the heart of town, the port of Punta del Este is the arrival and departure for so many people that come and go from all over the world! Fish and seafood market right next to it, a impressive display of boats and yachts and lot's of beautiful, pleasant and smiley people. Well spent time visiting!

This is one of the wanderful places in Punta del Este. You must park close and walk trough the Rambla to the Punta del Este Port, and wait for the sundown. Nice clima in this time of the year. Then you can have excelent fish or pasta diner in one of the restaurants in front of the ocean.

I enjoyed the fish fast food at Artico, one of the port´s restaurant. Good and cheap for Punta del Este. It´s a buffet where you can choose cold entrées and ask for a hot dish as well. Price is by the weight for cold food and fixed prices for the hot dishes. This is also the place to take trips... More

Start walking on the rambla by the port, then continue on to the point and around the other side of the peninsula (I cut through a neighborhood because I wanted to see the homes, but I assume the rambla, or promenade, continues on, if not, cut through). It's a beautiful view and the sunset continues on and you can see... More

a bit dull in the winter, most restaurants are closed. Punta del este is a very seasonal destination...

Visited in late October so weather was nice but the tourist rush had not arrived yet. Nice place to visit and right across bars and restaurants that probably have a great atmosphere in the high season.

Just a very pleasant way to enjoy a little more of Punta del Este ! ! ! The boats, the harbour, the critters scrambling for a free meal, the food to be consumed, the fish to be sold, people enjoying the sun, people enjoying the sea, people readying the boats, or ingesting local liquid favorites . .; .

Small pier with many yachts of all shapes and sizes. Lovely and peaceful especially out of season. Well worth a visit, have some lunch and going for a walk.
