This museum was founded by this guy who has about 4 of these museums in the world. He and his wife were very rich and had so much gorgeous art, they started these free museums. They prided themselves on not being commercial; no gift shops, cafes, entrance fees, etc. They featured South American artists. We explored the museum a little... More

This museum displays intriguing sculptures by Dali as well as other paintings and sculptures by other artists. The settings are very pleasant.

What a wonderful collection of odd, quirky art. Works by Salvador Dali alongside pieces by people that you have never before encountered and all are intriguing. A must!

Very special museum with South American modern work.. Mostly colorful, unknown paintings. Buildings and grounds are exquisite. No admission, no gift shop. Museum is run by foundation whose goal is to bring art to all

This free, small museum allows you to closely view many varied and interesting pieces of art and sculptures. Even it's this isn't your 'think' it has something for you and it only takes an hour. Well worth your time.

Fantastic pieces of art. Takes some time to see everything including sculptures. We only had 2 hours before the place closed and we had to rush to see everything. Be careful about the hours that the place is open because they're not open a lot.

PLEASE MAKE SURE TO CHECK THAT THE MUSEUM IS OPEN WHEN YOU INTEND TO GO. Oct to Dec the museum is open SATURDAY and SUNDAY 2-6pm. We walked there from the Los Dedos monument. It took maybe an hour of easy walking through nice neighborhoods. The museum has an amazing collection of modern South American artists and a small but... More

Very nice layout with many works of Latin-American artists, easy to get around and view all the sculptures and paintings and was one of the high points of our visit to Uruguay.

The Rallí Museum is not an usual museum. It is free to enter, with wifi and two gardens to relax. The exhibitions stay no more than two years and then travel to the other Rallí Museums around the globe. If you are particularly interested in Dalí's sculptures this is the place to go. For a nice afternoon after taking a... More
