We spent 30 minutes and it was no where near as good as the heritage activities on Yas a Island at the F1 race. So it could be better but not something to put high on your must do list...

The Abu Dhabi heritage village is nestled in the corner of main island of Abu Dhabi. Close to the marina mall and a must see if you are visiting Abu Dhabi. The place boasts of showing the cultural heritage of the country. It has the old souq or market place with workshops showing their wares including glass factory, leather, pottery... More

I think it worth to visit this place to realize the increadible change that supposed the oil&gas in this country, the change from the cottage and the camel to the mansion and the ferrari. It worths to know something about their ancient history. Also, there are some artisans making traditional products. Free entrance, don't miss the opportunity. It's a good... More

The Heritage Village is a mix of craftsmen showing their skills, museum, tourist stalls and some animals. It was free entry and with views over to the city, a good way to pass an hour or so. With the nearby Emirates Palace it is a good afternoon of sightseeing away from the busy city. We have a concern about animal... More

In the corner of the beautiful Abu Dhabi corniche, facing Abu Dhabi skyscrapers and nearby a fantastic Marina mall, there is a place which is less explored....the heritage village! Fantastic place for a complete family infotainment. From museum to tents to old built houses to hand crafts to shops selling traditional stuff (good place to buy some souvenir) to restaurant... If you want to explore the old days of Abu Dhabi you will explore in one place. Ensure to bring your cameras and purchase nice suveners and try the local bites.

Heritage Village is supposed to be a representation of an old time pearl diving and fishing village. They have the buildings, but that is about it! It is a bunch of buildings that sell goods. Don't waste your time. If you want to learn about local culture go to the Grand Mosque or hang out in a shisha spot!

This is a good place to visit if you want some insight to the history and culture of the Emirates. Adults will find it interesting whilst there are plenty of things to keep children happy. I wouldn't say it was a mind blowing experience but it is a pleasant escape from the many Malls and Hotels.

A little commercialized, by we still bring our visitors to this spot to "see" the local handicraft and artwork. Situated just next to the Marina Mall, you can take a little tour of 45min before popping to the mall for lunch. A good place for some souvenirs

Unfortunately, this place is dirty and ill-maintained. The culture of the Emirate people is better observed at the Grand Mosque or maybe by taking a bus trip. The Heritage Village is a bit sad honestly.
