Shops were open but the two museums closed...although signs outside clearly advised it should be open, I asked a few of the staff but they did not really give any explanation. I went into the Mosque and found a chap sleeping which is fine; he informed me I was not allowed in, although nil signs confirming this, a staff member... More

I visited one morning an hour after it had opened. I was shocked at how poor it actually was. The museum wasn't open nor were the shops. There were a few workers around trying to better the grounds and a couple of fastened up animals. Don't waste your time.

Placed near Marina Mall. You can explore some informations about Abu Dhabi: its tradition, nature life, and also the kingdom. But looks like it's not maintain well enough.

Visited as a part of a day tour. It did show some of the heritage of the area in the museum which was interesting but there was not much else to see. We wandered around and looked at all there was to see and filled in time till our tour left. Have seen much better.

This place is good stop to educate yourself about Emirati bedouin life style before the discovery of crude oil. The main stage at the back is a good place to take a panoramic photograph of Abu Dhabi's coast.

This place is not worth a planned visit. As there is nothing much here. If you happen to be in the area then you can drop by and take a quick look around. Enrty is free anyway. There is a very small museum which i find to be the only interesting thing here. If you have young kids they might... More

The city of Abu Dhabi was a salt marsh with a shallow beach front just a few short decades ago. The Heritage Village was a great opportunity to see how the culture was, and why things like hospitality tents and cane dances are so huge in present-day life. The people were informative and cheerful and the site's exhibits were well-laid... More

This attraction is the perfect place to come to learn about Abu Dhabi before the oil was discovered. Food, shelter, work, clothing, commerce, defense, relations...it is all here. And it costs nothing to visit. The best part s shopping. The cost is well below the cost of things in the malls, you are buying from local merchants, and in some... More

Just as well entry is free, because I would have been really annoyed if I had had to pay money for this. I cannot begin to imagine how or why anyone would find this unpleasantly run down, unfriendly 'attraction' in any way interesting! Precious little to see, what few animals subsist in this place are in a very poor and... More
