Not very genuin. . But the view of the city siluet from the beach is stunning! Free entrance. If you are close by, make a stop here. Not worth travelling far to see.

It's not very big, but it's an interesting glimpse into Emirates culture, and about the only one you can get here. It's interesting to see how the desert homes were constructed, and to see the irrigation methods. I felt very sorry for the poor animals, especially the hobbled cow that could hardly move her legs. The beach offers some great... More

As many other reviews said, the original idea is interesting but with all the wealth and ideas running around this city, it is not understandable that such a result came out of this .... The museum has maybe the most interesting part but could have been organized and presented local photos and object in a much better way ... Let's... More

It was great to see - a nice insight into Bedouin culture and history. Special thanks to our Egyptian guide for an entertaining and knowledgeable tour. It's just a bit pity that the entire village is a brand new replica. There is also an amazing beach where swimming is forbidden - quite disappointing.

Partly an open air museum and partly a souk. Don't be put offthe souvenirs and crafts on sale are very competitively priced. The exhibits and museum are well worth seeing Remember it is also free admission. We drove. It is very easy to find, basically turn right at the end of the Corniche. Most peopl arrived on organised tours but... More

Experience some of the old traditions of the area . Quite interesting watching some of the old trades done manually which would now be done by machines , carpentry , carpet making etc.

Stopped off here as part of the Hop On Hop Off bus tour. Reasonable place but not a massive amount to see - the most interesting parts were the four or five local craftsman rooms.

Nice but small attraction dedicated to culture in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi in a beutifil harbor front setting. The museum has both historic photos and artifacts but many lack labels or descriptions. Ditto the irrigation exhibit, dhow, and residence. It's an overview but more could be done to showcase tribe/ruling family history, bedoun culture, etc. at the same quality... More

Very interesting insight to a time pre the oil boom. Little museum and the restaurant in here serves the most amazing Arabic food! Definitely worth visiting.
