From the very rich Abu Dhabi to this poor place its almost like a time travel. I felt it was a waste of my time to visit this place. The place gives a perspective of the Bedouins life in the old days. The museum wasn't open and only some of the handicrafts ateliers were possible to visit. The shops were... More

Don't expect too much. There is no really good museum or heritage village in the country. This is the best of legitimately old thing you can find in Abu Dhabi. It will show you how ancestors of today's sheikhs were living. All the other places tends to "colour" the way people were living in the UAE 100 years ago. If... More

I went there as part of a Abu Dhabi day tour. The place provides a nice insight in the life of the bedouins. You get to see how they manufactured different tools, how they cooked and how they lived. The beach next to the village was amazing and offered a view of Abu Dhabi skyline. There were a few shops... More

Shops were open but the two museums closed...although signs outside clearly advised it should be open, I asked a few of the staff but they did not really give any explanation. I went into the Mosque and found a chap sleeping which is fine; he informed me I was not allowed in, although nil signs confirming this, a staff member... More

I visited one morning an hour after it had opened. I was shocked at how poor it actually was. The museum wasn't open nor were the shops. There were a few workers around trying to better the grounds and a couple of fastened up animals. Don't waste your time.

Placed near Marina Mall. You can explore some informations about Abu Dhabi: its tradition, nature life, and also the kingdom. But looks like it's not maintain well enough.

Visited as a part of a day tour. It did show some of the heritage of the area in the museum which was interesting but there was not much else to see. We wandered around and looked at all there was to see and filled in time till our tour left. Have seen much better.

This place is good stop to educate yourself about Emirati bedouin life style before the discovery of crude oil. The main stage at the back is a good place to take a panoramic photograph of Abu Dhabi's coast.

This place is not worth a planned visit. As there is nothing much here. If you happen to be in the area then you can drop by and take a quick look around. Enrty is free anyway. There is a very small museum which i find to be the only interesting thing here. If you have young kids they might... More
