The only thing "worth" coming in the Heritage Village is the perfect panorama of Abu Dhabi across the bay (it stands opposite the Corniche). Otherwise it is simple and very touristic, with some souvenir selling stands, a small basic museum, few animals,...,anyway waste of time. The beach is nice, but it is forbidden to swim there.

Nice place to spend some time. Calm and quite beach and nice photos to be clicked. The best is to visit on a Friday as you can have extended visiting hours till 9pm and you can have some nice clicks of the skyscrapers on the other side of the corniche. The museum and small and simple. The art of preparing boats... More

This place has the potential to be so much more but it just seems neglected. But of advice make sure you don't use the restrooms ... For a tourist attraction they really really need upgrading.

Most interesting was seeing the building/tents that the Boudin lived in. It is free and is worth a visit. They had some animals there including a camel, donkey and a horse. There is a beach there, the water is beautiful but the area is dirty. Same when you walk up around the theatre, nice place to sit but it is... More

You can visit museum which has traditional clothes and belongings. You can visit arabic and nomad houses there and have meal or drink at the restaurant. The place is located near to the Marina Mall and just at the beach side. So you can have nice picture there. Also you can buy an Arabic cloth for a cheap price at... More

With various types of houses/huts, a small museum, shops, food stalls, and a perfect view of the Abu Dhabi corniche, this village is a must! It is so much more than the village in Dubai (which should be skipped at all costs). Make sure you go!

I enjoyed Heritage Village in Abu Dhabi very much. A nice beach, small stores, informative small museums, beautiful views of Abu Dhabi shorelines. Friendly crafts workers at work. Exhibits of different types of housing used in the desert in past days. Very cool, highly recommended.

We visited early evening and although we were able to see examples of houses that may have been lived in years ago, there were few (less than half) of the artisan shops open. Many of the owners were, perhaps understandably, more interested in trying to sell their wares than in demonstrating how they had been made. This would, however, increase... More

Interesting if you are in the vicinity, you'll see how they lived when it was only a desert but it is not very big. At least no entrance fee...
