Although I surely appreciate that such a heritage village was build, it's more of a tourist place. It's for free what it good but there is unfortunately not much to see. The main place is filled with souvenir shops. Can't recommend.

it should be more elaborated but in a zest they try to show u a village life of earlier desert people. Live people working & making different things including the glass designing is a geat lively experience. Also the beach & its view is good enough to take your breath.

This place need to be closed and start again. Only redeeming feature is the water and beach. The so called buildings are poorly constructed. As a tourist i left without ANY knowledge about the city's past. KEEP MOVING !

I have visited several heritage sites in the UAE, Oman and Qatar. I must honesty say that this is the worst of all. The place is dirty and smells bad. There is a replica of excavations but it is miniaturized (really). I was here 2 years ago for the first time but I wanted to give it another shot but... More

Going around Abu Dhabi, seeing what the human can build and continues doing, looking at amazing buildings, islands, creeks, mosques, etc, etc, can't have enough dimension if you didn't have a look to museum at heritage village. One of what had impressed me was a photo of Abu Dhabi of 1960, only few cabs and desert only desert, but now... More

Great little place to pick up Emarati trinkets from abayas & burkas to swords & jewellery. It is situated near the water edge so after browsing the quaint bizzarre, one can grab a little treat to eat & take in the sultry air & unwind on the sandy shoreline. I purchased a few trinkets to adorn my house

Maybe I just caught it on a bad day...but this was very disappointing. Little going on, and frankly little to see. A few poor reconstructions of traditional buuildings (palm tree / frond constructions), a few shops selling overpriced handicrafts, a very short camel ride - all tacky and touristy and not terribly well done. Reading other reviews maybe there are... More

More like a bazaar than anything else. A lot of jewellery and scarfs of all sizes shapes and colours. The highlight was the carpets. Silk and wool in all sizes, shapes and colors. If you are interested in Persian carpets, thais is the place to go in Abu Dhabi

The Village is an amazing place to see some of the history of the UAE, whether you want to hold a falcon, ride a camel, see some metal, glass, leather work etc, this is the place, and did I mention that it's free. Go have a look
