Went there one evening and wont be going there again. Its got a nice beach but that's it - the place have no vibe/no atmosphere. and the food places aren't that great.
visiting the corniche was a highlight on our recent trip to UAE, we Mis timed it a little by arriving around 2 pm, just when the temperatures started to soar, but although we didn't walk far we enjoyed what we did manage. strolling across the bridge watching the local fisherman, and yet being surrounded by high rise buildings and the... It's fun to walk with the water on one side and some of the world's shiniest commercial buildings on the other. This is also where I most interacted with people from all walks of life in the city. It's not great for swimming, but even a quick dip is a relief from AD's intense sun.

Nice beach, lovely views but I've not really spotted the real attraction of the Corniche yet. My family visited for an afternoon and it was a lovely beach, but not much really going on. We prefer the beach at Yas Island which is smaller, but nicer to spend time on.
I was led to believe that a single blonde woman would be made to,feel Uncomfortable but that not true. I walked the corniche it's so beautiful and never once did I feel scared so ladies go for a trip to abba dhabi and enjoy
superb setting by the sea lovely flat walking espetially on a evening very impressed with the promanade with the park running along side and the bright clean safe underpasses highly recomended
