People have asked what it is like here are photos of it. The chocolate pudding comes after the first lot. I would recommend people not having lunch before it, and not expecting to need much at night but that depends on your appetite. It is advisable to book in advance.

The hotel is beautiful but too many tourists wandering around! We had afternoon tea which was expensive but well worth the experience of gold dusted cakes and coffee! Shame staff not as friendly as I had experienced elsewhere! Dress code must be adhered to, ie no shorts!!

This building is beautiful and well worth a visit if only for a photo opportunity outside. There are numerous restaurants and cafes inside all of which looked fabulous (sadly we had already eaten). There is also a hotel and had I known this at the time I would have loved to have stayed.

The Emirates Palace is the real deal - not a Hollywood sound stage. This is what you can build when money is no object. A little bit like the Versailles of the Emirates - without the gardens.

I don't get this place. If you like gold leaf and watching for people who look like the Kardashians, then this is your place. But I've found the meals marginal and very pricey considering where you are at. This has all the charm of a mall. Seriously, if you have the cash, stay somewhere classy, like the Rosewood. This place... More

When in Abu Dhabi you can have a quick visit to Emirates palace.. even though you are not a resident you can go around the whole hotel and the gardens with the amazing fountains with a nice view. Don't miss it.

Marble driveways, gold-lined halls, palms inside - Emirates Palace is definitely one of the most luxurious places in the world. Yet, this gives it a certain bitter aftertaste. Any thinking being will question the need and the price for such richness. Still, nice to look at.
