St. Ananias Chapel has a fascinating history, but the site itself is little to see. There's a small church in the cellar with a few rows of pews and an adjoining room with plaques that tell that history. There's also a small gift shop upstairs. My advice is to swing by this house while exploring the Old City, particularly the... more

The tiny Chapel of St Ananias is located in the Christian Quarter of the Old City, between the Gates of Bab Sharqi and Bab Touma and is reached by walking along the ancient alleyways leading off the Street called Straight.
