This is where the ancient meets the modern ... well preserved, well worth visiting. Time spent there is time well spent.

It was really beautifully built and extra ordinarily maintained. I will never forget the view. Thrilling experience, had a binocular view from here. Had lots of fun in this place along with my friends

An amazing transformation from the old one! Glitzy malls, plenty of space, spotless toilets, excellent free wifi and internet deks, ample seating, a huge array of restaurants with a great deal of choice. However, everything's more expensive than the old airport ;)

Qatari history & culture on offer at this old world palace gives you a glimpse of Qatar before all the development set in.

Just spent 14 hours in the brand new Doha / Hamad Aiport whilst flying with Qatar airways. If you want to visit the town you will need a transit visa (100 rials or about £17) to leave the airport. As people have said it is still closed for renovations (like the rest of Doha!) but its still work a walk to see the camels who live next door and also its right next to the Souq and within a short distance from the Corniche.

construction around the fort, and. The interesting part, was a camel pen beside the fort. About 12 camels being fed and watched by the camel tender. That made our journey to the fort not a complete waste of time.

I've been there and the scene was astonishing we watched baby turtles have a go a swimming for the first time, played in the water, discovered bones of eagles and fish,we went inside the fort and we were told that they were having thoughts on making it cafe, took long walks enjoying the scene it was beautiful. ~11 year old
