Take a traditional Dhow boat out into the middle of the bay and watch the sun go down and the skyline light up. Doha is one of the most modern cities on Earth with plenty of traditional flavors sprinkled throughout.

A perfect place for having evening walks, enjoy some cool breezes from the sea besides. Can even say an open-air stand-in gym provided, with some exercise setups so that everyone can come reduce some weights by doings some regular work-outs as well as enjoy the night viewof Corniche with beautifully lit building...

Between June - August it's too hot to do anything outside. It looks like a nice walk but there are hardly any buildings to enter in the area so you have to spend the whole time outside. This is not possible to do during the day in the summer.

For a business traveler, if you like to get out for a walk, corniche is good for that and offers a lovely view point of new developments across the bay

Drove along this today from one end to the other with a brilliant taxi guide called Asif, on the way from the Vegetable Market to the historic village cost 30 in the local currency. Absolutely stunning in the 40c heat, the Persian Gulf looked amazing. You had to pinch yourself to check that it was real. Regular toilets, lifeguards, a... More

I loved walking beside the ocean and seeing a bit of green in this desert city. There are boats parked which you can take for a bit of cruising on the ocean.

The Corniche in winter is great for a long walking tour as I did early 2013. It is a huge exhibition of modern architecture and urban planning along the coast, great for this sort of sightseeing, taking in the sea breeze, flowering gardens, along with the sight of amazing buildings towering on the road side in different shapes. Part of... More

I have walked along the corniche many times - it's just nice to walk along the sea on one side and the skyscrapers the other - at the top end you must visit the Sheraton park a great place to sit and watch the boats in the bay also has a costa coffee with views over the bay.

Great place for a stroll or jog. Just make sure you use the rest room before you come because the water closets are really spaced out. The corniche offers a nice spot for people watching. Typically the women cover their shoulders and well most wish the men would, too.
