I finished a lunch at downtown (West Bay) area and proposed to have a short stroll along the Corniche before I took a taxi to the Museum of Islamic Art which is on the far end. It's a day with dust storm. After I had walked for quite some time, I tried to find a way out and take a... More

Saw the pearl ...it's like a monument....of course the area is nice for walks and relaxing....did not cover the full corniche area....there are no clear road signs giving you options around this area...one must do some internet research on the area and visit..lots of construction work and good to have a GPS if you are not familiar with the area....

Its a nice place to walk along the sea, no other major attraction. There is a park for kids, gym equipment for adults.

We traveled Doha, Qatar last year in December. In our Doha visit, we traveled several places in Doha. Among those, Corniche was the bet place for shopping and outing. It was really nice visit there. But I think, the parking problem is little bit in Corniche.

It's one of the famous destinations in Doha for jogging, exercising, bonding and strolling while admiring the nature's beauty and the overlooking view of the business center. Along the Corniche, it has cleaned toilets, public gym, bench, parking space, restaurant and coffee shop. There are several boats as well for rent if you want to do some sightseeing at night...
