Nice and clean. brand new. Do not expect to see shops or even bar to simply bay a bottle of water. You go there to walk, or event better to run. To be used only in the evening as Doha it's terribly hot during the day and there are quite no points to protect you from the sun. Carefully consider... More

This is one of the visual highlight of Doha which is not a specific place but a long sea-side promenade that curves across Doha bay, rendering eye-catching views of Palm Tree Island and the skyscrapers in the city. The buildings are beautiful and especially during the night gives a sparkling touch to the sealine. It is also a good place... More

The walkway and views from the Corniche are lovely. If it's hot, go when the sun is setting as little shady areas. The traffic on the road beside the walkway is very congested but this is one nice pedestrian walking/running area.

The purpose of my stay in Doha was business, but I made a quick visit to the Corniche to run. It was early in the day, though already quite hot. The walk was lovely, with a nice breeze off the water. There were many little nooks along the walk where families were picnicking. When I passed the same area at... More

Walking the Corniche is a great idea, but remember Doha can be hot, the sun can be a killer. Carry water, an umbrella, there is no sitting under the trees. But the corniche is for the eyes...water, boat for a balade, museum to stop by, and a multitude of intricate highrise buildings, with straight ligne forms, with twisted forms or... More

Take the time to walk at the corniche, better during sunset when it is not too hot. It is great that this space for public use and several miles of uninterrupted walkway.

Nice for a walk, especially in the evening. I took a taxi to the museum and after a visit there walked all the way to the Sheraton park, which took about 1 1/2 hours. Lots of locals and visitors were around and I had a great view of the skyline. At the end I went to the Costa coffee and... More

Beautifully-kept beach front. Whether you want to swim, play water sports or just sit on the sand, it's the place for you (100 QAR per person). You can also take a stroll on the corniche then hop into the free buggies to take you to any of the several restaurants and cafe's

Nice sandy beach, very popular with the kids. Plenty of restaurants and coffee places to sit, relax and enjoy people watching.

Takes around 90 minutes to walk from West Bay to the MIA / Souq Waqif. A lovely flat walk often with a sea breeze. Dhow rides are a nice experience but nowhere to get a drink between Costa & the Souq (unless you want to pay QAR100 pp for a meal at Balhambar). Plenty of parking en route if you... More
