I work in a lot of gulf countries, and a walk along the corniche is how I often spend the early evening. Doha's is pretty good, and as time goes on is getting better. View past the Dhows in harbour to the towers by the diplomatic areas is probably my favorite view, but there is stuff to see all the... More

Can walk and walk and walk taking in the breeze and the ever-changing skyline. It's best to start in late afternoon and finish at sunset.

The dark blue sea and high rise is an awesome scene and a brand image for City of Doha. It depicts that country is developing and reflect the growth and wealth of the country

Visiting the Corniche is a must when you are in Doha. It's breezy, open, and the area near the Museum of Islamic Art is particularly endearing. Don't forget o bring your camera or your phone to snap some unforgettable views.

For me seemed the Corniche only a viewpoint to the fancy downtown of Doha, which is quite spectacular, but compared to, let's say, New York, it's just a pale concurent. Nothing else interesting in the area, except the boattaxis which I didn't try. Some joggers in the evening might have more fun and use of the long track which never... More

This is one of Doha's best attractions. In nice weather, it's a very lovely walk. For the ambitious walkers and runners, the Corniche is 12km. There are kilometers markers in the pavement to keep track of the distance which is also nice. It's also safe for walking during the day and night.

Get a Taxi to the Souq walqif , (market) wander the narrow streets and get your lunch there at one of the many restaurants, then walk the Cornice back to the city , in the evening the junks will be lit up and the skyline of the towers at Doha are seen at there best - not to be missed
