There is only one zoo in this country, which is a bit of a drive from the city. The zoo is well kept and animals are maintained despite the harsh climate. It also has lots of greenery in a desert country which is quite relaxing. The zoo is spread across a large area as well. Consider it a location for... More

I always take my kids and nieces to the zoo when it used to be open. it was the highlight of their winter season although it was poor and needed alot of attention as it has a lot of potential, but it is a great day to spend with family of all ages getting to know the animals having fun... More

The projects in Qatar keep delaying, it is supposed to open by 2017, I hope it does open by 2018. Has a very ambitious project though, will be like the Safari park in Bangkok, maybe better

It's closed. Under complete reconstruction. Not sure when it will be open again the signs are confusing to say the least.

This really a good place to visit with family especially with children . The children can enjoy the place and can see animals . The zoo is maintained well and the animals are cared well. Can spend 2,3 hours in the natural atmosphere

Closed until the new one is built, but the web site does not tell you this, so do not waste your time driving all the way across town just to be disappointed by a guard who states "Mafi Zoo"

This is a traditional zoo, but a nice attraction none the less. We went in July, and the heat was draining, but my 8-year-old daughter had a blast!
