Free & Interesting.

Interesting stuff but the exhibits are quite small. This is mostly a marketing scheme for the company involved, but it's a cool, free experience.

The premise for this centre is great and there are quite a few models of what the new area may offer when it is complete. There is also a glimpse in to the modern history of Qatar and Doha and perhaps a bit more on this would be welcomed. There is a selection of artefacts but I could not see... More

A small barge at the start of the Corniche in West Bay. Shows you what life used to be like through videos, pictures and old exhibits. Also shows detailed models for the new development by Msheireb and how they are keeping the modern buildings in line with traditional designs.

A very informative display and depiction of islamic architecture and how it relates to current building design in Qatar. It gave me an understanding of how ancient islamic buildings were able to use water and air for cooling and how modern architecture in Doha has also used these concepts.

The location is easy to visit. the Whole building is on one small building on the sea. The surrounding is pleasant to take a walk in the evening. The theme of the museum is "no past, no future".Therefore, lots of old photos are displayed in the museum. There are also some model of the future plan in the city. It's... More
