Away from the crowded Mesaieed beaches, these beaches are pristine. Beautiful clear water and white sand.

We chose the overnight desert stay. You get picked up from your hotel in doha or pretty much any location. You are driven to one of the many tent-camps - if you enjoy dune-bashing, you can ask them to drive like maniacs thru the dunes. Once you get to your tent-camp ( busy on thursday-fri) you can drop off your... More

Being a city girl, an adrenalin rush is usually sought when one visits a theme park or serious shoe shopping, however, in Qatar one only needs to visit the desert in a 4WD and with a mad fearless driving Egyptian who is prepared to go where no man is usually meant to drive. With this in mind we booked with... More

The tower can be seen overlooking the Corniche at Al Khor. It was built in 1900. Nearby is the museum - where you can learn about the myth of Ghilan and Mae, the region's first female pirate, and see the displays of marine life.

A once in a lifetime experience that everyone visiting Qatar should experience. Please go with experience companions as it can be very dangerous, don't underestimate the dunes especially if it is your first time. Avoid during the summer months ...June, July Aug hot as hell...Go prepared with enough to drink and I mean water...

Visiting the desert is something that can change the way you perceive life. All that sand and all those dunes reaching as far as your eyes can see will certainly make you feel small, insignificant and extremely vunerable! The inland sea is just beautiful. There's a spot that you can see the Saudi Arabia Mountains and it's simply amazing! Do... More

We were a group of 3 who really enjoyed the adrenaline inducing roller coaster ride through the sand dunes. We started our excursion with a short and sedate camel ride which lulled us into a false sense of what was to come.... The pace quickly skipped a beat after jumping into the 4 x 4 with our very experienced driver... More

We visited the inland sea as part of our Arabian Adventures tour. The set up with the tour company meant that we were well accommodated and enjoyed the visit. The sea is lovely for views over the bay and a nice swim! Worth visiting as part of a desert tour!

A definite place to visit. The contrast between the dunes and the blue water is remarkable. Great place to spend a weekend on th dunes in traditional tents and pure Arab hospitality. There's two ways to reach here, over the dunes and one by passing the dunes but still worth the drive reachable only by a 4X4. The former is... More
