It's just a regular city just like any other. Lots of shopping places but that's just about it, any mall would have more shops.

Lots of fashion shops, nice cafes and restaurants, always busy, a must when the weather is nice as lots of open air places, it has 2 small shopping malls with nice brands and some street shops also, you can almost find everything you need there.

It my least favorite street in Beirut I think it is fake, even faker with all the people drinking shisha and shopping. I dont like the design of the centers on both sides. They dont reflect any taste in design or even fashion! The only thing I like about the street is walking from Hamra to it or vice versa.... More

We were told this was the best place for shopping etc in Beirut. This is very misleading. This is a shopping centre like you would find anywhere in a major western city. Bit boring, overpriced, and cold atmosphere. Nice if you like malls etc

In the heart of beirut verdun is one of the main areas to shop with middle to high end shops. There are three buildings with shops inside and on the way. There are also restaurants and coffe shops and hotels like holiday inn. If you want to shop in Beirut it is. Good area to stay.

A very central location with a choice of hotels, dining options, high-end shopping and entertainment, all within walking range of each other.
