Although this is known for shopping, I particularly enjoyed it for the restaurants and coffee shops, as well. Very nice!

I love hamra street. With its restaurants, bars, caffes, theaters, shops, hotels, book shops, and so many places to discover. Hamra is the cosmopolitan Lebanon I love.

Hamra street is like the most famous street in Beirut. It is a very commercial street with some local brands. If you want to change money, do it there. And go it to Barbar Snack very close to the street.

Lovely street, a very traditional down down area for shopping, moderate shopping in prices and quality too if compared to solidare area where international brands and high prices. Food shops are spreading over there offering adorable food. Coffees are spreading too with Shisha all over the place. I recommend to you Barbar (Name) shops for the most delicious food on... More

It is the heart of Beirut, low prices shopping center with reasonable long stay hotels, the night life there is the most enjoyable experience you will get, a lot of cafes and restaurants also availble

I have one answer YOU SHOULD GO THERE. As I always say dont think by visiting the main... More

I walked for blocks on Hamra Street - I think it is over-rated by other reviews - it's just like any other old dirty street of Beirut with shops, hotels, etc. Not sure why it is even worth visiting.

Make sure to visit Hamra's alleyway for a drink at night. The best places are mainstreet, walkman, feb 30 and bistrot bar
