Lots of retail shops, cafes, restaurants and money changers. It's a busy main road so lots of car and people traffic.

Busy, hectic, and joyous, this is Hamra St., an icon of Beirut. Here you'll find locals having coffee and smoking a narguileh, or tourists shopping as if there was no tomorrow, though prices have risen sharply.
