One of the most animated streets of Beirut, alongside the American University of Beirut. Lovely place to hang out among university students. Full of snacks and restaurants, plus a couple of libraries and a movie theater.

A street full of fast food snack shops most of which you can buy your sandwich and keep moving. Food is really good there, but not a typical place to sit and calm down.

Right infront of AUB Main gate... this street is amazing. Always buzzing with life, even at 4am. Great Crepes and fast food restos are found there. Ice Cream, Manakish (the traditional Lebanese pastry) and even doughnuts. A cinema, bank, library and even shops are available as well.

If you are not a Uni student, I don't think you will find this street really attractive. The traffic is horrible to get in. Few mid-range restaurant here and there, very shops even less bars.

This is a nice part of Beirut, famous for The American University in Beirut, and several nice restaurants and cafes.

Just outside the AUB you have Bliss Street going from east to west. On this street you will find several small kebab restaurants and some american food chains like McDonalds and Dunkin´ Donuts. The KB kebab restaurant has been there since 1971 and is one of the better places, don´t judge it on it´s appearance.
