The Zaitunay Bay certainly exceeds all expectations and transcends the national borders to further polish Lebanon’s image and allow it to assume its rightful position as a touristic destination, but more importantly, as an exclusive and luxurious destination rivaling the best the world has to offer. Being the go-to place for all the Lebanese, Zaitunay Bay also inevitably is a prominent touristic destination. A must-see destination offering an array of various, cultural, leisure and social activities which finally brings back those faded photographs of Lebanon into the new millennium.

A very nice spot to have a drink or a meal- beautiful setting that takes you away from the maddening place that the city of Beirut is. All restaurants there are way overpriced for the quality if food served, but you have to pay for the special place. Worth going there at lunch time, when it is somewhat quieter than... More

Yes, the boardwalk/promenade is agreeable enough to walk but the cafés and restaurants are dull, formulaic and over-priced, e.g. an Almaza (local beer) for almost twice the price of a local café in a less pretentious location. Also, before paying we were asked to fill in a Customer Questionnaire. Interestingly, just after receiving this it took forever for them to... More

Zaitunay Bay is a great place to spend the day or evenings with family and friends. Nice walk on the dock looking at the beautiful boats or at the nice buildings around. An underground parking and a big variety of restaurants to please every taste. It is always nice to stop by for a relaxing evening by the sea.

good for soothing walks by the sea and great for taking photographs near the sunset! P.S: try to avoid in super hot/cold weathers!

Here you can see the rich peoples boats and rub shoulders with them . The cafes are a cut above the rest and the people are nice to watch. This area has been cleaned up a lot over the years and its now a chic and happening place , its a feel good area .

There you see the building that used to be the oldest and the well known hotel in middle east. It is an icon for beirut. The bay is good for taking a walk. When you do the downtown day come here also.
